Nothing about this case rings true, the only thing done right during this entire case/ investigation was the conviction of Rudy Guede. The DNA evidence was all highly suspect, the witnesses were highly questionable, the prosecutor was too concerned with saving face and the Jury system is too susceptible to influence from media and other sources.
Italian law is WAAAY different from the American system of due process - the prosecutor can make baseless accusations and judges will uphold them, inserting their own personal prejudice. The Knox and Sollecito families should sue for false imprisonment and defamation. After the police grilled Amanda for hours and threatened her with life imprisonment if she didn't give a name, she told them that her boss did it - he was later released and she was convicted of slander. This was a witchhunt.
Everything I have said in regards to my involvement in Meredith’s death, even though it is contrasting, are the best truth that I have been able to think.

Guilty or not it would appear that the trial was pretty farcical and some of the evidence was pathetically flimsy. The media campaign that demonized her stirred up a well of hate and she was made a scapegoat for the well deserved hatred that the Italians feel for Americans as a result of the constant attacks, rapes and murders committed by US Service Personnel there who are never brought before the authorities, just quietly shipped back to the US after they assault or kill some local.

Nothing about this case rings true, the only thing done right during this entire case/ investigation was the conviction of Rudy Guede. The DNA evidence was all highly suspect, the witnesses were highly questionable, the prosecutor was too concerned with saving face and the Jury system is too susceptible to influence from media and other sources.

Italian law is WAAAY different from the American system of due process - the prosecutor can make baseless accusations and judges will uphold them, inserting their own personal prejudice. The Knox and Sollecito families should sue for false imprisonment and defamation. After the police grilled Amanda for hours and threatened her with life imprisonment if she didn't give a name, she told them that her boss did it - he was later released and she was convicted of slander. This was a witchhunt.

For what it's worth, I don't personally think she has an innocent face at all - frankly, she looks more than a little unhinged to me - but what I, or anyone else, thinks about how she looks is irrelevant. The mountain of damning evidence speaks for itself.

Guilty or not it would appear that the trial was pretty farcical and some of the evidence was pathetically flimsy. The media campaign that demonized her stirred up a well of hate and she was made a scapegoat for the well deserved hatred that the Italians feel for Americans as a result of the constant attacks, rapes and murders committed by US Service Personnel there who are never brought before the authorities, just quietly shipped back to the US after they assault or kill some local.

She also treated the trial like a big joke constantly smirking in court and doing cartwheels in the police station waiting room whilst waiting to be questioned. Her behaviour was beyond strange. You have misquoted me. I did not write "I believe she did it because she was relishing in the drama." Now who's twisting things? I said her behaviour was odd considering the circumstances and would appear to some that she wasn't taking the situation seriously. As it happens, I dont actually believe she was physically involved in the murder I think her boyfriend Raffaele was a lot more involved and she stupidly covered for him.

I accept there's no hard evidence proving she was involved in the murder but there's also no evidence she was abused by Police and forced into making false statements either. Her behaviour did little to help her and I stand by that. Anyway, no use us arguing over it, we cant change what happened.

If you put a sentence in quotation marks, it becomes a quote and I did not say I believe she committed the crime because she was relishing in the drama. Yes I said she was relishing in the drama and therefore her behaviour was strange, saying I think she committed the crime because she was relishing in the drama is a completely different thing.
