Well it shouldn't require the 3.0 update but if you don't have 3.0 its well worth it. I hope that helps.

hey i went to the app store on my ipod touch and i searched it in enigmo and it is $2.99 but it says its for the iphone and when i click it, then it says this application requires the iphone 3.0 software update PLZ HELP!!!!!

next time you have the anotation over the ipod touch, make a link to a site where you can buy it that would be so cool cause i tried clicking on the anotation and nothing happened so yeah include a link in the annotation
