  • How large is the gas tank and how far will it travel on a full tank?

What about putting an analog control on the grip for one function controls instead of three separate controls for thrust, left, and right?

  • Buenisimo Juan, y tú que tal lo manejas??

  • nice post a video of it if you havn't. wounder how big it is

  • internal combustion motor? I bet it's loud and obnoxious like a lawn mower

  • that looks more fun than having sex with random strangers!

  • why arent they riding them in waves! It looks pretty boring in flat water! Nice invention I reckon!!!!

  • this is supposed to be mainly like a jett ski...not surfing... so shut up

  • it'd be pretty sick to ride this at a good longboarding spot when it's like barely breaking

  • the founder is a well known local at Trestles, CA.

I had the chance to meet him in the water and hes a nice person downt to earth with a great passion for surfing.

He knows better than you tomtomiz what it's all about.

  • wen I go windsurfing, I burn 20 l. of diesel to reach the spot..

  • awesome for a flat day or a lake. but nothing can beat real surfing

  • truly awesome - noisy and burning fuel - thats surfing at its best. burn this shit!

  • All you haters can shut it! not every place in the world has waves and some of us live around lakes. if you want to feel all high and mighty about your purism of a sport then go do it and stop hating on others that want to try something different. kudos to the inventor of this i'd like to see you haters build anything this cool

  • it looks like fun to me. it doesn't harm surfing at all because it's not real surfing right? the same thing was said about snowboarding by skiers . it's just having fun on the water without the need for waves and the skill needed to do it plus you can do it in 2' of water or in fresh water , no sharks !

  • what is wrong with you people.... How do you manage to take the soul out of the soul sport... A motor in a surfboard... What's next the devil in heaven...

  • no its not the very first jet powered surfboard. The surfjet was in comp with the original kawi jet ski and the wetbike. They were white w-bicentenial striping & designed when computers were the size of buildings and didnt have design capabilities for lying lames to clame.

  • the first ever powered surf board? ha ha ha ha ha .... man these things been around in one way or another for atleast 50 years , try 1959 sumer skimer on youtube , or google SURFANGO, SURF-JET ( very 70's looking) , Aqua Xtremes XBoard , Motorsurf Jetboard , and mono jet

its a nice looking board , but you carn't say that its the first one, ford dosent say that its new coupe is the first car does it ?

  • barnpimp is on MF point pulling the mad historical surfjet titles. Remember the Wetbike? the snowmobile on water. I hated those. Whats the mini RC boat that you ski behind on a sufboard called?

  • If one of these came to my local beach i'm pretty sure the locals would punch you until you stopped moving LOL

  • @curlcurllocal

I hear that. They'll punch you silly at my local break just for showing up at all. Throw one of these into the mix and they'd probably just kill you.

  • @EdgerHumphrey surfing isn't violent, so why say dumb crap like that?

  • @InAndOutMurder - You obviously haven't surfed my neck of the woods. But keep telling yourself that if it makes you feel better.

  • @EdgerHumphrey Punch what? there wake. You all would be left the dust. the only thing they would be killing is more of their brain cells from doing more drugs.

  • @akbushav8r There wake? Where wake? You wrote something about dead brain cells?

  • @curlcurllocal sound like you'd be real jealous

  • does anyone know what song is this ?

  • i think its KOBE BRYANT NOT IN NEWPORT BEACH by MC BILLY WEDGE w-o- lyrics. founder- ORANGE COAST UNDERGROUND SOUND!

  • thats dushe!

  • how much is a jetboard!?

    how much is a jetborad!?

    how much is a jetboard!?

    how much is a jetboard!?

    how much is a jetboard!?

  • like $6500 USD

  • how much r they ???

  • i traded my wife in for one for the weekend to these dudes on Lake Mead & went home with both come Sunday Night. Thats my girl!

  • how fast do they go?

  • about 70 kilometers per hour, wich is about 45 miles per hour

  • they're like 5-6 grand. they are NOT just stand up jetskis because the rider steers by shifting his or her weight. the propulsion is fixed, therefore these are not considered to be personal watercrafts.

  • How do y know?

    I heard $10,000

  • This is all very well and good, but these people aren't surfing. Those things are basically just stand-up jetskis. All you really need from a powered surfboard is the power to catch some crazy waves (or any waves for that matter - something this video is lacking) without the need for paddling or a tow-in.

  • how loud is it?

does the engine make 60's surf music sounds?

  • hows the engine take a wipeout's tumble?

  • the engine air intake shuts off in the patented arm-pole snorkle and any water flows to the tail section and exits via the pump bilge.

  • Hey i have some questions about this, first how much do they cost, and second i live in toledo ohio is there a place around here where i can buy one, cause that thing looks G

  • i have used the forerunner of these it was called a surf jet back in the 1980s .i used it mostly in the surf to catch and rip the shit out of waves.back then i thought the surfjet needed a load of improvement with design it was way too heavy with a thumping great 250 cc 15hp engine and poorly designed jet pump.Bob has made improvements shame he thinks bigger is better most of that power is a waste of gas.back to the drawing board Bob and get the power to weight right this engine is overkill .

  • This is not the first jet powered surfboard. they were produced in the 1960s by Los Angeles' Jet Board Co.

  • have you big-wave surfed on one yet?

  • what kind of engine is that? for example is it specific to just these boards?

  • That is our patented SuperTorqueXT engine. 330cc single cylinder 45 HP. Made for the Powerski Jetboard but we are already using them in kayays and inflatables.

  • i'm thinking about it.

    how much are they?

  • It is actually quite easy to get up...if you take your time with the right instructions. We have 100% success rate with first time riders!

  • Has any body used this before ? I would like to no whether you need hours of practice or whether you can jump right on and have a go
