Sorry Les Miles is a headcase who has bad clock management, can't coach an offenese and relied on his defense to wins games.. Let me say that last part again, "he relied on his DEFENSE to win games.." We all know Michigan doesn't have a defense. Michigan might not get Les and up with Brady Holke.

@StoicBehavioR Last I checked defense wins championships. Any good football has to rely on their defense to keep the other team from scoring. I thought that was what the game was all about, scoring points and not letting your opponent score points. But you do make a valid point, though I doubt that you caught it, and that is Michigan needs to make sure it gets this one right, if not it will be something similar to ND.

@StoicBehavioR And to let you know, I don't have a problem with them hiring Hoke either. He did take two doormat programs to bowl games. Michigan needs a coach with vision and other than his own personal expenses, Jim Harbaugh hasn't shown much vision throughout this. And to tell you in all honesty, I don't think Jim's style fits the NFL, but we'll see how he manages. Brady Hoke or Les Miles are both good hires. LSU can't wait to see Les leave and Hoke has stated that Michigan is his dream job.

The connection he was with Michigan is deep and special to him. I love California as much as the next person, but with Michigan out there looking to go a different direction, anything is possible. The Illinois game was a circus. It wasn't football.
If he showed some ownership of the entire team and recruited a couple playmakers on defense, they'd be giving everyone a run for their money.
As it is, they end up down 31-10 at halftime to all the good teams because of a soft defense and turnovers from the **gasp** offense!
Showing off against cupcakes and getting stomped by good teams is not what I expect from UM football.
I just hope they can keep it within 20 points today.

Wrong. MSU only won a shared or full NC from the major polls in 1952, 1965 and 1966.
Post World War 2, Michigan and MSu both have 3 national titles. Michigan has won one in 1947, 1948 and 1997. MSU in 1952, 1965, and 1966.
