But have you ever sat and counted the number of times he says "uh" while he's talking? If you need to pause, just pause! Or at least throw an "er" or "um" in there or something x3 I can see that particular verbal tic will become irritating to me fairly quickly.

Ron Paul's approach is good in theory, but it's not practical given the global situation. It would have worked perfectly in the eighteen hundreds. It's different with superhighways, internet, advanced weapons sytems, terrorism, global trade etc etc. If we chose not to play the game we would get obliterated by those that do Eg. China, Russia, Japan, West Europe (the last two economically). So we need at times deficit spending. however if we listened to him more we would be a lot better off
