I hate to tell you this but that choke was weak and anyone in the bjj community would agree. the "x-choke" as we call it is a highly effective submission but the way it is demonstrated here is poor. Both the depth of the 1st hand set and the lack of detail placed upon the gripset is where you lost it. In all honesty the pressure given on the demonstrators example would rarely tap a seasoned submission grappler.
