@TEHLEGITGUY People relax. Jesus Christ I hate arguments like this. The 92fs/m9 works for the U.S. military but that doesn't mean it's a better gun than a Glock or vice versa. I plan to round out my arsenal with a 9mm, and I think I'm going to choose the somewhat-dated, overly large and heavy by today's standards, aged 92FS on tradition and nostalgia alone. It's also one of the sexiest and most filmed guns in movies. But yeah, I like Ducatis, but also like Japanese sport bikes. Why must I choose one and hate the other? They all rock! =)
@pdiz I like your taste in guns. But no way would I bother with a Beretta 9mm, too large. Not one you could have a Glock 19 or a nice Sig. I reckon the Sig pro is awesome.
@HiTiLLiDiE602 i agree. im new at shooting and when i first visited a pistol range i started with a Springfield 40 S&W. then i rented the glock 21, and before i even completed emptying one mag i was comfortable with the gun. very sleek and nice.
you cant own them here since 1997 because a guy who was head of a gun club and had big campaigns to make guns more legalised went into a childrens school and shot all the kids and the teachers
Modernized .45, Glock usually can make a decent piece, light weight and most fire under water nicely.. let along saw a test or two in a mag where they put it though hell and it operated just fine.
ACP stands for Automatic Colt Pistol. GAP is an acronym for Glock Automatic Pistol. 45 ACP is your conventional 45 ammo. 45 GAP pistol cartridge was designed by at the request of firearms manufacturer Glock to provide a cartridge that would equal the power of the .45 ACP but was shorter to fit in a more compact handgun.

ok man 40 cal i moderen round 45 acp old round good gun but the 40 packs the same punch in the smaller bullet so i sud stick 2 the 40 its my favret round power of a 45 and a 40 cal bullet
there is a conversion upper for the G22 but it cant shoot anything larger than the 40S&W. But you said you wanted it to shoot 9mm? There is a site I know of that offers the complete slide conversion to convert it to a 9mm. or you can buy a G17 9mm barrel and mags and make it a 9mm that way. Thats gonna be the easiest
the only reason the US military (i assume you're talking about the USA) uses beretta is because for some strange unknown reason, the government wanted to have good relations with italy
@alecshinyuanwu When USA ran the pistol trails in the early 80's, one of the requirements was that the pistol maker turned over copyrights to the USA. Gaston Glock refused. Thus his design was not allowed into the trials. Berretta makes a great gun. Glock is just better.
I own a glock 21 and a Beretta U22 Neos, both guns are great, don't love or a hate a gun because of political reasons, judge a firearm for what it really is. I love glocks but brettas are also very good guns.
@alecshinyuanwu Its actually because the glocks didn't fulfill their requirements. Not to say berrettas are better. but if i recall correctly the US army wanted all metal guns that had traditional safety mechanisms on them.
You and 10 other people obviously don't know the history of why the U.S Military chose the Barreta 92, so maybe you should close your youtube window and do some more research. BTW, by choice, our most elite troops use Sig Saur P226s.
@alecshinyuanwu -- no, thats incorrect. beretta won the us military pistol trials in the early 80's against alot of great guns including sig. better relations with italy? do you just make sh** up as you go along?
@alecshinyuanwu no they are using berettas because beretta put in a lower bid than anyone else, if it was ruger they would be using rugers, if it was glock theyed be using glocks.
@alecshinyuanwu all us military weapons have to be made in the usa...as well as our uniforms. beretta was the cheapest company that would build a factory in the us and supply us with side arms. hence the difference between the 92fs and the m9.
@alecshinyuanwu no ,because they got a better deal on the M9, the Sig p226 almost won but it was too pricey for those queer democrats. i think if the Glock had a thumb safety then it would more than likely be the US sidearm, (there are a lot of dumbass kids that need a safety to ensure some safety for the others around them)
@TheGreatFlyFisher beretta 92 ... the first model had a tendacy to malfunction under repeated combat use... the malfuction was quite nasty... as in slide beaking off and flying into the shooters face... they solved that in later models by puting an extra pin in case of catastrophic malfunction... and if you fired you should know it feels like a lawnmower when you compare it to a glock... its just.... shitty :)
@alecshinyuanwu i would never buy a beretta m9, i was told that you cant put pressure on the barrel and fire it. it was designed so it coudent be used for mob exucutions or something like that. is this true?
I would say that the 40 has a DIFFERENT recoil than that of the 45. The 45 is more of a WHUMP. The 40 cal is THUMP. The 40 recoil is sharper and is perceived as being more harsh.
40 is a higher chamber pressure load compared to 45 auto. Higher muzzle velocity combined with the smaller surface area of the 40 bullet makes the gun recoil up instead of the larger surface area 45 bullet recoiling a little straighter back.
ACP or GAP... I know the difference in the shell but are these both versions of the same gun Glock 21 ACP or GAP... ? Also is the ACP more common b/c of the Colt? Thanks.
Basically the GAP round is the same as the ACP, but its a little shorter and is specially made for glock, meaning no one makes a GAP round, and ammunition is hard to find. so basically dont ever buy anything GAP, stick with the more common and cheaper ACP rounds.
I can buy my GAP at 98% of the gun stores I've ever been to. In fact in most cases it's been cheaper than ACP. Federal makes it, Winchester, Remington, Corbon, and CCI/Speer which covers about all of your major ammo producers. And on a side note, Springfield even chambered some of their XD's for .45 GAP. So unless you exclusively buy at wal-mart or live in a cave, you can get GAP very easily.
I keep Hornady JHP/XTP for home protection, but is Winchester FMJ a good personal protection round? Also is Sellier & Bellot 230 gr FMJ a good cheap round for the Glock?
I've got this same gun, but in Gen 1. It doesn't have the rail. A great pistol! I have big hands so it is comfortable. Many of my friends don't like it because of the grip. I got mine used for about $450 a few years ago.
go to a range and rent them both, i would definately USE both of them before making a decision, do you ever wonder why theres always guns for sale that read something like "i have a gun for sell with only 1 box of shells through it" its more often than not because some chump slapped down the cash for a gun he never used before and decided he didnt like it. and GLOCKS are notorious for this, either you love them or you hate them.
yeah. it is undoubtedly a love or hate thing with GLOCKS. for some people they fit just right in the hand and the shooter is able to point the gun naturally. other times, they are horrrible uncomforatble and akward to point and hold. try them both and make a decision.
Have you shot a Glock 30 or the 30SF? If you have what is your opoin on either one. I currently own a Glock 30SF. Also have you handled a Glock 21 or 21SF if you can provide I would appreciate feedback on that handgun as well.
I agree with the fomocowboy. I couldnt decide between the glock, Springfield, or Smith and Wesson 45. I went to the range and rented all 3 of them. I liked the Glock way better than the other 2 - ended up buying the Glock 21.
Glock 21 is regarded as the biggest gun that glock makes. Yet the slide catches the top of my hand every time i fire it. I have enormous hands btw. Anyknow know if a beaver tail would work for me?
no.... the make of the weapon doesnt usually change the muzzle energy of the round... so if you get shot with .45 from a glock...its going to do just as much damage if it was from a 1911...as far as the weapon goes...its all about what your looking for....personally i prefer 1911's if im buying a .45....Para-Ordinance, Smith&Wesson, and Springfield make the best 1911's
1911's are exactly what they are. First an inexpensive, but now outdated handgun that we gave our boys (soldiers) that were meant to be idiot proof... Meaning anyone, if they had too, could pick one up in the battlefield and keep the lead flying towards the enemy. Its outdated, heavy, and a piece of poop. The glock is like the 870 of handguns. Keep it oiled, it'll keep shootin; a "pig".
i use a glock 20 for home protection with light and laser i use a glock 30 to carry in a thunderwear holster to save weight, comfy carry i use gloc 33 in my truck to protect myself if i has to shoot through car doors windows and or for car jackings so if you can get the whole family that way you have a variety to chose from.full, compact, and sub compact.
IMO anything with a 4 in front such as a .40 or a .45. Personally I wouldn't use a 9mm just not enough stopping power. I carry a Glock 23 on me at all times except for work. I also have my duty Glock 22 in my endtable drawer along with my Remmington 870 behind the head board. But thats just me.
Just a Sheriff's Deputy. I like guns they keep me safe. In my county we have take home cars, so people know a cop lives where I do because I have no garage space for my crusier.
10mm has higher velocity and more power, but quite a bit more expensive to shoot than 45acp, which still has plenty of knockdown power, so if money's no issue, or don't plan on taking to range much, go 10mm.
yes chec out blackhawk wabsite they have serpa holsters i have the level 3 for my g20 ,and if you go to the glock website or look up insight x2 light for glock they have a low profile thats not so big on his gun and blackhawk has a holster that can house the gun and light too .very good holsters chec them out..
good shooting, that was a nice group, the first time i fired one of these puppies i had been firing a G17 all day and i swear when i started firing the 21 rock'n'roll started playing in my head
dont go with the GI, get the milspec if you are going with the SA 45. I would spend a lil more though and get a Colt series 80 or colt commander. better gun
I have the 21 and 36 Glock 45 ACP. They are the best 45's I have ever owned and shot and I have owned quite a few. there isn't another 45 out there that I would swap my Glocks for and if I did it would be for one that sold for more. Then I would sell it and buy another Glock. I like this video because you can see how well the shooter did.
They are way over priced and don't have anything special about them. Here is the million dollar question, why do 99% of local and federal law enforcement agencies issue Glocks?
light weight, low recoil, easy to use, parts are easy to get, variety of calibers and all the extra accessories available. These guns have been put under some of the most stressful situations and tests. There are many guns on the market, but only few come close to the Glock, they are not much to look at but they do the job.
Try a Glock. I have two of them now. ( a 19 and a 30 ) I still have a 1911, but I no longer carry it. The Glock is lighter, higher capacity, absolutely reliable, and simple to strip and maintain. I'm sold on them. I still like 1911's, but..
Well, I own the model 22 and 23 they are both 40 cal. 40 is really snappy, but the 45 seems to big for my hands. The 45 is much smoother, but it's thick in size. You can't really go wrong with any glock.
are you serious......the sigma is better?! I won't say that the glock is the best pistol but the sigma is most certainly not. i own both pistols and the sigma's trigger pull is atrocious, it gets twice as dirty as my glock in no time and it is extremely picky with ammo.
yes, and S&W made a metal on metal slide, not metal on plastic which is where glock fails. S&W is a better company and made a better gun, that's all there is to it
Dont take your finger OFF the trigger each time, let the t trigger CLICK to reset then resqueeze! Train yourself, Use the FORCE LUKE!!!!!

go to a range and rent them both, i would definately USE both of them before making a decision, do you ever wonder why theres always guns for sale that read something like "i have a gun for sell with only 1 box of shells through it" its more often than not because some chump slapped down the cash for a gun he never used before and decided he didnt like it. and GLOCKS are notorious for this, either you love them or you hate them.
fomocowboy 3 years ago 2
yeah. it is undoubtedly a love or hate thing with GLOCKS. for some people they fit just right in the hand and the shooter is able to point the gun naturally. other times, they are horrrible uncomforatble and akward to point and hold. try them both and make a decision.

Have you shot a Glock 30 or the 30SF? If you have what is your opoin on either one. I currently own a Glock 30SF. Also have you handled a Glock 21 or 21SF if you can provide I would appreciate feedback on that handgun as well.
Xx5tempyxX 3 years ago
I agree with the fomocowboy. I couldnt decide between the glock, Springfield, or Smith and Wesson 45. I went to the range and rented all 3 of them. I liked the Glock way better than the other 2 - ended up buying the Glock 21.
matt99unc 3 years ago
I have the 1st generation Glock 30, I went with Glock because of reliabilty issues, they never fail to fire (period). Get a Glock they are the best.
1999vfr 3 years ago
Well that did not work the way I planned it.
daehkcarc 3 years ago
the Glock 21 is a double-stack right?
snoozlefroose 3 years ago
Yes. All Glocks are.
b7160 3 years ago
Uh, no. All Glock's ARE NOT double-stack. The Glock 36 is a single-stack .45 Auto.
acstokes 3 years ago 2
My bad, I realized that right after I clicked "post".
b7160 3 years ago
whats doble stack and whats single
2pacalypse25 3 years ago
Double stack and single stack refers to how the bullets are stacked within the magazine.
. .
. . This represents double stacking (dots are supposed to be bullets.
.
.
.
. This represents single stack.
daehkcarc 3 years ago
Double stacked magazines the bullets instead of being right on top of each other, double stacked the bullets are staggered

Glock 21 is regarded as the biggest gun that glock makes. Yet the slide catches the top of my hand every time i fire it. I have enormous hands btw. Anyknow know if a beaver tail would work for me?
step0229 3 years ago
get a smith and wesson M&P 40
badgerattoadhall 3 years ago
If you like .45, Sig Sauer's come out with a P220 Beavertail for people with big hands.
OverHedge99 3 years ago
you guys seem like a good group to shoot with :P
rammsteinlieber 3 years ago
this is a strong caliber.
thiagocessna 3 years ago
This comment has received too many negative votes show
Unnecessarily strong, in my opinion. The first gun I ever owned was a Glock 21. I sold it about a year later after buying a .40 S&W Sig Sauer P229
b7160 3 years ago
no.... the make of the weapon doesnt usually change the muzzle energy of the round... so if you get shot with .45 from a glock...its going to do just as much damage if it was from a 1911...as far as the weapon goes...its all about what your looking for....personally i prefer 1911's if im buying a .45....Para-Ordinance, Smith&Wesson, and Springfield make the best 1911's
Hazmat0357 3 years ago
...you forgot Kimber, probably the best.
haus340 3 years ago
Colt's the original and retains its value...just throwing that out there...
JulesWinnfield69 3 years ago
1911's are exactly what they are. First an inexpensive, but now outdated handgun that we gave our boys (soldiers) that were meant to be idiot proof... Meaning anyone, if they had too, could pick one up in the battlefield and keep the lead flying towards the enemy. Its outdated, heavy, and a piece of poop. The glock is like the 870 of handguns. Keep it oiled, it'll keep shootin; a "pig".
spencer0590 3 years ago
is this as powerful as the 1911 or the USP?
sliskigt 3 years ago
its the same caliber so yeah........ dunno how you dont know that
Hazmat0357 3 years ago
it's not the same gun... is there a big diffrencne?
sliskigt 3 years ago
no...just the glock carries more rounds...
LaOnicap1972 3 years ago
i use a glock 20 for home protection with light and laser i use a glock 30 to carry in a thunderwear holster to save weight, comfy carry i use gloc 33 in my truck to protect myself if i has to shoot through car doors windows and or for car jackings so if you can get the whole family that way you have a variety to chose from.full, compact, and sub compact.
jmagic32971 3 years ago
is this better then the glock 10 mm for home protection?
whats the best glock for self defense?
2pacinseattle 3 years ago
Whatever you are accurate with, but a 45 is excellent for home and self defense. Use hollow points though.
Rodasj 3 years ago 2
IMO anything with a 4 in front such as a .40 or a .45. Personally I wouldn't use a 9mm just not enough stopping power. I carry a Glock 23 on me at all times except for work. I also have my duty Glock 22 in my endtable drawer along with my Remmington 870 behind the head board. But thats just me.

Do you live in the ghetto?
mycatisromeo 3 years ago
Just a Sheriff's Deputy. I like guns they keep me safe. In my county we have take home cars, so people know a cop lives where I do because I have no garage space for my crusier.
danesurgeon 3 years ago
10mm will have more penetration, so if you have thin walls use Glaser rounds.
slauterhaus 3 years ago
10mm has higher velocity and more power, but quite a bit more expensive to shoot than 45acp, which still has plenty of knockdown power, so if money's no issue, or don't plan on taking to range much, go 10mm.

jmagic32971 3 years ago
good shooting, that was a nice group, the first time i fired one of these puppies i had been firing a G17 all day and i swear when i started firing the 21 rock'n'roll started playing in my head
hatrixz 3 years ago
I gotta XD45acp and I like it waaaayyyy better than any glock I've fired
gwarknut 3 years ago
Different guns for different people. Personally I hate how the XD feels. I will stick with my Glock or on some occasions my 1911.

Glock 30 in the 45 is the best
biokemical 3 years ago
The Glock 30 is only made in 45ACP. Glocks models are caliber specific.
Lord666Belial 3 years ago
i can't shoot the standard 21.... I can only use the 21 SF. My hand are too small lol

Smokeless powder my ass

Don't you mean 3 O'GLOCK? lol.
MyElement5 3 years ago 2
Well, that all depends on your stature. Some people can pick up a Glock 21 and it feels like a G15.
OverHedge99 3 years ago
about 650 for the two tone like will smith had in bad boys two
jjay3200 3 years ago
i think thers somthing wrong with their clock
KillFrenzie 3 years ago 3
how much does a glock cost?
ghamer31 3 years ago
depends on what model...... but dont think you can get one for under 300
PhilOrth 3 years ago
If you're looking for a 9mm don't pay more than $500

good Video -- I just ordered my Glock 21 SF today .
jmm1714 3 years ago
dont go with the GI, get the milspec if you are going with the SA 45. I would spend a lil more though and get a Colt series 80 or colt commander. better gun
mcstarr25 3 years ago
Nice move!
Roberthurz 3 years ago
I have the 21 and 36 Glock 45 ACP. They are the best 45's I have ever owned and shot and I have owned quite a few. there isn't another 45 out there that I would swap my Glocks for and if I did it would be for one that sold for more. Then I would sell it and buy another Glock. I like this video because you can see how well the shooter did.
Roberthurz 3 years ago
1911A1 all the way!
Like glocks too, though, but only for the 9mm and 10mm.
Mikitsubizunizu 3 years ago
yeah, i was thinking on buying a .45ACP, but i haven't decided between the Glock and the Beretta. which one do you recomend???

1911
UnknownSpartan5 3 years ago
The one I want is the Springfield 1911 GI series
ohiodeerhunter21 3 years ago
Springfield is a good one too. Watch a video on here called "Glock VS Kimber." Kimber is a 1911 style 45 and is very similar to Springfield 1911.
JJCS83 3 years ago
I know what kimber is and they make really nice guns but they are way too high priced.
ohiodeerhunter21 3 years ago
They are way over priced and don't have anything special about them. Here is the million dollar question, why do 99% of local and federal law enforcement agencies issue Glocks?
JJCS83 3 years ago
Reliability is my guess.
ohiodeerhunter21 3 years ago
light weight, low recoil, easy to use, parts are easy to get, variety of calibers and all the extra accessories available. These guns have been put under some of the most stressful situations and tests. There are many guns on the market, but only few come close to the Glock, they are not much to look at but they do the job.
JJCS83 3 years ago
I know how that is. I own the Glock model 23C .40 and they are really kick ass guns.
ohiodeerhunter21 3 years ago
springfield xd-45
awsome gun... i love mine.
drewhenderson13 3 years ago
Try a Glock. I have two of them now. ( a 19 and a 30 ) I still have a 1911, but I no longer carry it. The Glock is lighter, higher capacity, absolutely reliable, and simple to strip and maintain. I'm sold on them. I still like 1911's, but..
tedium3 3 years ago 2
im gonna be uying a glock i the near future .40 or .45 sub comact or not ...some in put on calber would help
mrjesuschrist2u 3 years ago
Well, I own the model 22 and 23 they are both 40 cal. 40 is really snappy, but the 45 seems to big for my hands. The 45 is much smoother, but it's thick in size. You can't really go wrong with any glock.
JJCS83 3 years ago 3
Glock is a great and a very reliable gun, but I myself prefer the Springfield XD....
Junije1 3 years ago
Nice gun!
Pythomyst 3 years ago
thats a hardcore gun
olihill101 3 years ago 3
are you serious......the sigma is better?! I won't say that the glock is the best pistol but the sigma is most certainly not. i own both pistols and the sigma's trigger pull is atrocious, it gets twice as dirty as my glock in no time and it is extremely picky with ammo.
sj22183 3 years ago 2
The new Glock 21 Sf has made a new slide and they are made of metal.
donlsnider 3 years ago
No...it's the same as a 21, except that the grip is 3mm shorter. Same slide, same polymer frame.
nakedcomputing 3 years ago 2
i can get it even now if i want =) im not in usa ;) im from GEORGIA so no prob for the guns =)
chxei 3 years ago
i think my fav pistol is still the S&W sigma, like a glock but so much better
Jarek4 4 years ago
*rolls eyes*....yeah, sigma is pretty impressive....getting sued by Glock for copyright violations and all....
HowieKaluha 3 years ago
glock only wanted money, sigma created a better version of a glock and they realized they could either loose money or gain it by sueing them
Jarek4 3 years ago
Are you serious? You have to be kidding me.
SabreTacticalCT 3 years ago
yes, and S&W made a metal on metal slide, not metal on plastic which is where glock fails. S&W is a better company and made a better gun, that's all there is to it
Jarek4 3 years ago
I'm not even going to enter into this argument.
SabreTacticalCT 3 years ago
cause glock has too many fanboys. only good glock is the glock 18c cause it slides on metal rails
Jarek4 3 years ago
