By the way people Queen of the Damned is a combination of the book Lesate any body who has read the books know that Marus is not Lestates maker!!!! However this did happen when he meet Marus and Marus was one the the first to tell him about who he is!!! Lestates maker threw himself in a funeral pire after he made Lestate. Read the Book Lestate you will love it....

I liked Tom Cruise as Lestat better in Interview with the Vampire. Not to be mean or anything to anyone who likes Queen of the Damned(Film) but this movie completely cripled Anne Rice's work! She even said that she didn't participate on set with this Novel because they didn't let her write the script, and none of the material they used was in comparison with the novel. This movie was so pathetic. Lame CGI effects, poor casting, and a really retarded script.

I really don't mind how far out this was from the book (Although it would've been better if they did follow the book and let Rice write a screenplay for this). I love the cast. Stuart Townsend definitely has Lestat's charm (Even Rice herself met him and said he's very charming). Aaliyah was great as the queen (RIP). The only thing I enjoyed in the movie was the music. JD did an awesome job :)
