Try Crash Bandicoot Nitro Cart 3D if you want a game that matches Super Monkey Ball. I have both, and at the moment, because of the lack of control for the controls, if that makes sense to you, and the flaws with the camera etc. I have to give it to CBNK3D. Both great games, and as soon as SMB is fixed, it'll probably take the cake. :)

Originally I would have agreed with the terrible controls.. but after playing it enough, I've gotten use it it. While it is hard because of the controls, it's still a lot of fun. The serious flaw with the controls IMO is the camera. Because the camera is always moving to stay behind yoru monkey's ball, the direction your tilting stays reletive to the monkey... What I Mean is.. When the camera turns left.. it causes your tilting to also sway to the left. So you have to compensate for camera.

I got both. They are both pretty good graphics wise, but each have some problems.

Super Monkey Ball: Lots of levels, fun, and awesome experience. Controls may feel too sensitive at first, but you can get used to it. However, if you press the home button in order to lets say check your mail and then come back to play again...not possible. If you get out of the game, you have to start all over from level one.

Crash Bandacoot Racing: Not as fun as monkey ball, but still pretty good game. However, doesn't have many levels. Also it seems like the car goes at constant speed and no option for speeding up by using the accelerometer or to slow down, but you can pick up speed options on your way, so not a big problem.

To sum it up, they are not perfect and $10 makes you ask whether they are worth it. I'm pretty sure they will update the games later to fix issues and would say get them if you got the money.

sorry to spam the wall, but just one more comment. I have played jailbroken games before and they are pretty good and absolutely free. However, that $10 will give you graphics that is unmatched by the jailbroken games. If you use NES in jailbroken iPhone, you get pretty good graphics, but not like monkey ball. It's really good graphics for a phone. If I get all these cool games (there are some free ones as well) and apps, I might just not jailbreak the iPhone 2.0
