  • Ouchy

  • cop: "sir put your hands in the air" Nelissen: "fuck no! die bastard"

  • 1:31 ...is the pig able to stand up with a bloody broken lag?

  • another example why cops are called PIGS

  • HA HA HA HA HA HA HA AH HAAHAAAHHAAA Poor Wilfred!!!

  • A dose of common sense is necessary NOT to stand on the way of ciclysts. Somebody could've died or got permanently injured.

  • best part of this shit stain of a sport is the crashes

  • @skyestheword Die.

  • wtf! thats hard!

  • after investigation the police did nothing wrong. My ass. I am dutch and living in France. Let me tell you one thing. In France the police never does anything wrong or any other officials do something wrong. It's always the others who do everything wrong. Fuck the French. Arrogant basterds.

  • Terrible..............

  • what the fuck

  • It almost looked like he was being ramrodded into the barrier and would have wiped out even if the cop wasn't standing there.

  • That cop looked like a bowling pin. He just flew.

  • Si se fijan si no choca contra el policia choca contra el muro de contención, el ciclista con la mirada abajo...

----------------- If crashes do the police against the retaining wall, the rider with the look down ...

  • stupid cop

  • el segun es un guardia de seguridad qe estupido

  • What program is this? I would like to see the rest of the count down

  • cycling really does bring out the dumbest of all people, whether it be riding to work, or racing, or even just a cruise down the streets idiots walk out in front of the bike without looking, turn into and cut cyclists off, nudge over into bike lanes... crazy, thats melbourne, australia anyway, not sure about other countrys... its a bit unfare though. that policeman should have been sacked for lacking commen sense and endangering multiple peoples lives...

  • @a25a02a96a well said.

  • Everyone blames the police guy... But Nelissen made the biggest mistake there he ditn't look where he was going he would probably have crashed into the barrier anyway... certainly the most stupid bit of sprinting i have ever seen.

  • @caskinfg Surely you've never seen Abdoujaparov race?

Nelissen wasn't going to hit the fence.. Even with your face down you can follow the line of the barrier in the corner of your eye. The policeman was standing on what was supposed to be clear road.

  • I thught that these type of stupid accidents only used to happens here in the third world...... shame on these bikers

  • @lectermax What does the third world have to do with the severity/cause of accidents?

  • cosa cazzo ci faceva li quel coglione di poliziotto? è un coglione

  • dont you thing the police would put thery hands up to there fauls....hehehe no way would they said its our falt..

  • "A "thorough" police investigation concluded that there was no camera and that the officer had done nothing wrong" - wow, what a surprise!

  • 100 BONUS POINTS for Hit

  • He must have got a dam good picture.

  • The crashes are all I watch it for. The rest is about as interesting as crown green bowling.

  • to be fair, they would crash even if the policeman wasn't there - the very left biker was pushed towards the policeman (or wall in case there wasn't anybody) by other bikers

  • No camera and done nothing wrong :)

  • Go to see a Frenc Musical Flashmob on youtube : To Hand The Torch The Musical To Gare Haussmann Saint Lazare PAris.

  • ceu fdp de mort de chmite de merde qui film

  • fuck tha police

  • @lloyd8christmas fuck that rider for not looking where he's going

  • Comment removed

  • Look at the aerial view on 1:04. The policeman is clearly standing on the road taking pictures.

  • ofc its not a little handy/camera its a laser so he could check the speed and give the riders tickets, cause they were too fast in the city lol

  • maybe he had a brain fart

  • One word explains it all - IDIOT, fucking idiot..

  • Oh, God =(

  • The thing is, policeman or not this kind of thing will always happen, some not so serious and some very serious. It was only 3 or 4 days ago in this current tour de france that a spectator has cause a major crash. If you look at the history of any tour you will be suprised by the amount of crashes that are caused from spectators

  • "Nothing worse than a broken leg." Oh, only that! He did deserve it, although why they would every have the cops INSIDE the barrier is beyond me.

  • ACAB

  • Et c'est pour celà que l'on met des barrières, pour éviter que des imbéciles ne soient sur l'asphalte à photographier... C'est VRAIMENT un connard de policier !

  • che coglione sto tipo, alla forca! Muori bastardo!!!

  • This policeman sucks not the entire police :D

  • The cop stood up almost straight away and nicked another guy of his bike what a cock.

  • @pmilkme Don't think the cop chose to stand up after the first hit - he bounced back up off the flexible advertising board. Still a complete tool for getting in the way.

After the second hit he stands back in position as if to say: "Maybe I got away with that - I don't think anyone noticed". The twat.

  • i wish that policeman died, what fag I mean he practically ended the cyclists career "was never quite the same rider agin", its just a shame :(

  • asshole riding bike while observing the street for sand or who knows what the hell results in crash. nothing uncommon. keep your head up douchebag

  • @klauskarlkraus - but it's not - it's a closed race with track marshalls and other officials apointed to make sure the track is clear, so the riders can just RIDE. The idiot cop had a recess out of the way, designed for him to be in when the riders came.

  • @ginganz13 even if the road is closed you should always look where you go. look where he is heading. if the cop would have been inside his "hole" the rider weould have hit the fence. i think he would have bailed anyway

  • @klauskarlkraus There are rules for the riders, this is not one of them, that is why so much effort is put into fences and stopping stupid police and other obstacles. "the rider weould have hit the fence" - how dumb an assertion is that? Jalabert never hit a barrier before or since in millions of Kms riding.

  • @klauskarlkraus are you retarded or something? It's a sprint finish of a bike race. Do you even understand what that means? Keep your mouth shut douchebag.

  • i dont care what any of you say, the cop was doing what the other cops were doing. it was the useless bikers fault. they should be arrested...end of story...

  • @thebrassmonkey100 fuck off, he was taking pictures of the race. is that in his job description, numbnutts? fucking troll, why the hell do i even bother.

  • @Epostaxis u fukin tard listen to it again, there was no camera. oh and look at your comment and then mine whos the the fukin troll bitch....

  • @thebrassmonkey100 oh yeah, right, the French police said their colleague was NOT taking pictures... (despite his elbow sticking out halfway across the track and him not being close enough against the side) a very thorough investigation i'm sure.... Dude, if you can't even see that then you're more then blind , you're willfully ignorant and thus a fucking troll. thank you and goodbye.

  • @Epostaxis well well looks whos all tore up....

  • @thebrassmonkey100 - er - no - he was standing in the path of the riders, outside of the 'hole' designed for him while all the other cops managed to stay out of the way. Are all Americans as stupid as you and George bush?

  • i think it is surprising that they can got that fast and the only safety gear they have to where is a helmit

  • that cop was bouncing around like ping pong..what the hell was he doing anyway..taking pictures again

  • Kinda funny? Man you must have a boring life to find this funny. Oh and you've probably never been on a bike at that speed, wondering what a crash can do to your body.

  • LMFAO SRRY GUYS SRRY I JUST THOUGHT IT WAS KINDA FUNNY BUT POOR DUDE

  • what a dumb fucking cop. I cant believe what he fucking did. jesus fucking christ. ruined the entire fucking race. what a fucking idiot!

  • @cogfux no, who ever placed him there was an idiot, cos he was placed on the inside of a blind corner, going at that speed, the cyclesist proberly didnt have enough time to think to move out the way, and thhe officer proberly got hit before he hhad time to think

  • @jackasjuniors no one told him to ignore his surroundings.

  • @cogfux yeah but orders are orders

  • BLOOOOD!!

  • sick sick

  • 0:46 the man steals the wheel or is he one of the team

  • it never fails to amaze me that there are always so many people standing clearly in the way of these riders, from the police to the idiotic fans who jump in the way. Why isn't something done about it???

  • @waitingroom05 - I totally agree. It's madness.

  • @waitingroom05 Yeah, and people that just watch family dogs walk out into the road.

  • @waitingroom05 Partly because half of the tour de france land is private owned......you can't stop the public being there......and I can't see any goverment stopping it's people being stupid.

  • I don't wanna sound like a thug but fucken cops man! They always figure out a way to fuck up! Now is this justice? That rider was never the same and had to retire 2 years later yet that pig was back on duty eating donuts (sorry french pigs probably eat croissant all day) and standing in the middle of the goddamn road as usual. And shame on the ''authorities'' for finding him: Not guilty.

  • this headbutt is much better than zidanes

  • Holy shit this makes me think twice about buying a road bike!!!

  • @atalayapark Just look where you're going and you will be fine!

  • its really hurt! damn!

  • ACAB!!!

  • WTF was that Prick doing there. He should be jailed

  • Poor Nelissen. The crash virtually destroyed his career

  • This PoliceMan is IDIOT, eh?

  • wht song is in the bckround?

  • @autumnlove28

Radiohead - everything in its right place

  • cop seems like a bit of an idiot

  • FUCKING PIG

  • you cant just blame the officer, it is alot his fault, the rider was not looking where he was going...

  • man...another case of " fuck the police"

  • WTH the police man got hit down seemed to get up straight away , take out someone else , fall down again then fly back up like nothing happened ,,,, then the guy goes 'nothing more than a broken leg' HAHAHA

  • nelissen lives only 5 kilometres away from me in wellen

  • FUCK that police man

  • What a sub-human idiot. He is a threat to society, simply by his own eye opening stupidity.

  • this makes me rage. guy trained his ass off and gets his career ruined by something so stupid

  • Thank heavens he was wearing a helmet !!!! lol

  • the police is RUINER

  • Note to self: If hitting someone...go into attack position with all weight rear and low and lock up....hahaha itd be like bowling.

  • no helmet no problem

  • oh my god this makes me not want to bike fast ever again! :(

  • hard to believe they sprinted with no helmets

  • The other cop who jumped the barrier was cleverer

  • I thought before seeing the video that the cops had shot him 86 times for "resisting arrest" or something. In the US the enraged cops would probably charge him for attempted murder or something

  • Those cops were utter twats standing in the road like that

  • SO... FUCK THE POLICE !!!

  • pwned

  • @Luvezzi It was a sponge.... (looking like a slice of bread, indeed...)

  • holy shit

  • Joder, Jalabert...

  • What an idiot policeman, standing where he was...

  • Woke up the next day in hospital with a broken right arm, a fractured right scapula, two broken ribs, a torn rotator cuff and numerous bloody lacerations. That was not fun ...

  • Eerily similar to the crash I've had. While going around 50 kph a pedestrian walked onto the road at an intersection (pedestrian lights were RED, road traffic was GREEN) literally 5 meters in front of me. You know what will happen and still feel eerily detached from the whole process of crashing into something and flying through the air (in my case about 10 meters and into the oncoming traffic, luckily the drivers had lightning reactions, otherwise I'd have been crushed).

  • GRUESOME! yikes!

  • arrogant frenchman. You've got 100+ elite cyclists speeding down a small section of road, atleast move back and not try to be some big shot and think they have to get out of the way of you.

  • Comment removed

  • @leemyster2 yeah you obviously had to blame it on the fact that he's French right? You're a fucking moron. That guy messed up, not because he is an arrogant French, but because he just wasn't paying attention.

  • Well i think its policeman's fault cuz if you're already sprinting in a group you can't take curves. Now cyclists lost they're positions and some teeth :(

Policeman job is to be sure the road is clean but that man didn't even clean himself from the road...

  • When i'm sprinting on track, i try to look forward but you just can't while going at about 50-60km/h

  • Its not the police mans fault! If he hadn't been there Nelissen would have hit the barrier instead... look at the line his bike is on before he hits the police man.

He would have hit the barrier a few meters later anyway. This was a mistake of the rider, not the police man.

  • @jnielsen20

    Bullshit!

  • Ya you should here Lance's comment he was absolutely correct.

  • I would run over the police on purpose and skid the brakes on their balls if they have any

  • yikes!! :(

  • what's the point of cleared the road if those damn police still on the way?

  • I don't really follow the cycling sport very much, but in this case i remember it vividly and to me after seeing that crash, it confirmed for me that this is one of THE most brutal sports around yet at the same time just the most wonderful example of man and machine. an example? the time triallists... they are at one with the bikes and just watching them glide along on a stretch of tarmac going about the 'office job' is just absolutely magical. Just man and machine.

Peace out to 1 and all!

  • Typical comment from some Manc criminal!

  • what a daft cunt that pig is, not only at fault for the first also jumping into a second crash, looked like he was trying to cover up the first one, fucking idiot.hope his leg still hurts

  • Wot a cock

  • Disgrace that the cop was cleared. No camera? Bollocks. You can see what he's doing quite clearly. Good to see it is not just the UK where cops can act like criminals and get away with it. By his stupidity he virtually ended poor Wilfried's career.

  • The policeman did nothign worng!!! aahahh fuck the police with this stupid an pointless words. If the police wasn't there nothing of this shit happen's! what's he was doing ther on the track? police always the same shit.....doing mistakes than it's nothing with them....

  • another reason why police suck

  • @ideasoner

    ideasoner for president!! =D

  • @antjanlosen haha thanks! =D

  • @ideasoner if your a normal person and follow the rules the police wont suck. pretty much common sense.

  • @dakinehawaiian79 you must live in a bubble, i live in the real world and trust me, they suck...

  • If I was that policeman, Id have gone and slapped a ticket on his 'bleeding' forehead for Dangerous Driving!!! LOL

  • the sins' was the cyclist in the space that had their line of hurdles deoveva go ??!!!

  • check out the reaction on the next cop! Amazing!! he was up and over that fence in under a second!

  • count the numbers of policemens: 20 minimum???? Oo

  • The policemen had nothing more than a broken leg? Well I heard that he was off work for 2 years with it

  • Yep that was some bingle

  • great radiohead song in the intro!

  • FUCK THE POLICE

  • Wilfried zijn zoon zit in myn klas :P

  • that was nasty, the policeman should have been in the cubby hole thing...

  • The officer has no business standing litterally in the middle of the road like an asshole he is! Than the "authorities concluded that the officer did nothing wrong? I guess in France causing someone to prematurely end their carreer is "standard operating procedure!

    Poor riders :(

  • he wasn't in the middle of the road. he was on the side of it. and like the video says. they didnt have the little gaps in the barrier for the police to stand in back then. and his job is to watch the crowd. not the cyclist. so yes. blame the cop for doing his job and standing on the road, but as far to the side of it as was possible for him

  • You don't see riders hitting police officers standing "on the side of the road" this officer was clearly in the MIDDLE of the road. Pause the 35th second and examine the surroundings. You don't see another officer standing as far out as this asshole. Now I wouldn't have a problem with him if he was the only party to this incident being hospitalized. You fuck up you suffer. Very simple concept. However when your idiocy causes one's livelihood to prematurely end I have a huge problem with that.

  • I think you're exaggerating, the middle of the road is a few metres further to the right from viewers' perspective...He was standing a bit closer to the track than his colleagues did, ok, but Nelissen is also steering his bike into the fences, hadn't he hit the policeman then he would've hit the barrier...The way I see it...

  • Well,

the cops fucks up as always!

    PIGS!!!!

  • hahahaha

  • que chota hace ese qleao ahi???no puede estar ese ahi!!!!aka en san juan paso con una radiomoto

  • no people on the road ¡¡

  • it's right

  • Dude try to sprint in 70km/h and look forward and observe everything on the road, it aint easy!

  • @Jur0 oh yeah, even at like 50 or 60.

  • @Jur0 If u can reach that speed on a bike,,,, Its sick!

  • @ostito

If you didn't know... Some sprinters look down to see under their arms to see who's behind him or near him.

0:07 There are little "scallops" for for officers to stay into. Who's fault was it not using these "scallops"?

  • @ostito

It's like, someone gets injured in a car accident and blames the automaker for not making safer vehicles...But wait....The passenger wasn't wearing his/her seat belt...So who's fault is that?

  • on 1:09 or 1.10 we see it... clearly...

  • I agree. it's fucking clear the policeman made a terrible horrid mistake. He should have been punished for sure. How can he be so inattentive and such an idiot? It's hard enough to ride your bicycle to the finish line without having to worry about dumbshit police standing in front of you during a mass sprint.

  • what moron police men. thats what the get for standing on the street during the race.

  • His name is spelled Wilfried Nelissen.

  • Ah right..ok...i wasnt too far out!!Cheers

  • Thanks for the vid anyway!

  • wow that is a disturbing image... difficult to watch.

  • 1234Guul, you must mean Fabio Casartelli.

  • who was the cyclist who died in the Tour de France in 1995, by running into a concrete block?

  • haha, the policeman stands up immediately afterwards, right into the path of another rider lol

  • Owned

  • Jalabert lost his teeth

  • I remember seeing this on the daily highlights programme at the time. The fact that the policeman was cleared of wrong doing - and it was stated that he did not have a camera - is nonsense. It was clear that he was taking a photo and charges should have been brought against him.

Sprint finishes are bloody dangerous and the police are meant to be there to protect the riders and the public. This complete buffoon destroyed one rider's career. A broken leg was not punishment enough for the cop.

  • Policeman was french, therefor he could not be making a mistake

    According to french autorities

  • FUCK THE POLICE

  • i would rather not, thanks

  • BOOOM!!
