we had each rogue mark their own target manually actually. they either used a keybind to mark their current target or possibly had a macro to mark their mouseover.

In my spec? No. Without fingers of frost it's pretty useless as the bosses aren't getting frozen.

Using the spec that gives 15% chance to freeze them is bad as well because it could freeze them on their way to the frost patch while the tank is trying to move them.

The hotstreak addon is called EventAlert. (might be EventAlerts, can't remember).

The combat text addon is called Parrot

If you stun the adds before they cast Shadow Strike, they don't cast it at all. I think GC uses a prot paladin for add tanking so a well timed holy wrath would do the trick.

You couldn't time it before the recent change in which the shadow strikes always came at a set time

Very nice kill! I see that you use two tanks. If you don't mind me asking, how did you stop the shadow strikes from casting with all of their buffs up? I'm guessing it wasn't assigned interrupts.

4 rogues, each one setting a designated add as their focus and kicking the cast.

Since the kill there was a patch iirc and now we use a different strat with 3 tanks
