I'm 14, and listening to Jerry Reeds, Johnny Cash(I have every song he ever made :-) , Hank Williams, Hank Williams Jr., Hank Williams the 3rd (yes, he sings classic country) Willie Nelson, Jim Croce, ....etc.
@Buffalo4Ever78 Cause first he says "How high is the water Momma." And Momma says how high, then he says "How high is the water Papa?" and Papa says "She says it's..." cause he already got an answer from Momma.
i'm proud to say one of the best voices in country music came from my side of arkansas, i sing this to my little girl when we get ready in the morning
When I was younger my dad played this for me and I found it completely hilarious but incredibly addicting. That served as my stepping stone to Johnny Cash and i've appreciated it ever since.
im 14 kids just pick on me for songs like this........... this is real country... no beat just a guy singing.... now a days they use all this band and technology... i wish i could of lived these days
This was emailed to me as a birthday gift. Nice! Brings back warm memories. And I'm glad there's some young sprouts out there who listen and feel the same.
A lot of younger people listen to Cash. I'm 18 and have been listening for about 5 yrs. I listen to all types of music, except country which I HATE. But Johnny Cash is just amazing.
Walking Tall. If you guys remember the scene where Knoxvilles chillen beside his trailer, hes listening to this song, ever since watching that scene i've become a huge fan of J-Cash
@Lilreb1860 "Johnny Cash was the best singer there* was/is/ever* will be. I'm* 15 years old, that's* proof someone in the new* generation knows* him. Thanks for post'n* it".
Looks like you needed some help there, don't worry. I got your back... in a figurative grammatical sense. Good day.
@WTBBabyFactory I actually have pretty good grammer when i want to, althought it never has, nor will be my best subject. I just dont pay it alot of attention on the internet.
I remember listening to this song for the first time when I was a littel kid while I was cleaning my gandfather's garage wich had a dirt floor back then and it played on a a.m. radio station loved it every since.brings back a lot of memories.

@PFCPEDERSON dyslexic? because I made a typo? dude, if you react like this to everything, you need some serious therapy.
