  • Wonderful! I'd love to hear her do Idiot Wind, now.

  • why ruin a great cover with a stupid fucking video. Just put a still of Lucinda on and be done with it

  • I think she captures the song! She sings with a sneer!!

  • It's a very good cover. By someone who obviously gets and enjoys the message. Good voice. Well worth the listen.

  • @woodentopical

    "Good voice."

    Lucinda Williams??

    No.

  • why didnt you say it was a cover . you split arsed cunt

  • this is not bob you cunt

  • they really linger uncomfortably long on the little red bull fist pumping guy...

  • Very nice job! Lovely voice!

  • I would normally only accept Joan Baez to cover Dylan, but this cover is superb!

  • @codeastronomer i like this too. but joan really nails dylan's stuff every time she sings it.

  • "You know what a drag it is to you see you" is the best line I have ever heard. Its easy to write if off but ive never heard a line that characterizes the feeling of seeing someone you dont want to see so perfectly.

  • This song has been my favorite Dylan recording ever since I first heard it in the summer of 1965 as an 18 year old just out of high school. I kinda thought this was going to be a crappy cover of a wonderful song but I was wrong. This, in my humble opinion, is a wonderful recording; unique, different and clear. Count me in as the 89th listener to conclude that the experience was enjoyable and the time was well spent. Thanks for the post ~ hats off to Lucinda Williams.

  • good version good video

  • Thumbs up if this is the first time you understood all the lyrics!

  • How could Dylan be so selfish to take away pretty much ALL of our pasts, by removing all his original versions of songs from U tube? What a dickhead and selfish asshole.. I always thought he was strange, even as I grew into my teen years in the 60's....talented, but definitely driving his own train and pretty much playing to his OWN beat as is obvious in "The Last Waltz".Talented but a real asshole and confirmed by his copyright worries.

  • @purveyor24 You're not "walking in his shoes".Who knows the reasons why he did it.But he did & they're his songs not ours

  • @purveyor24 "Dylan Positively 4th Street Subtitulos español e inglés" is close to the original. If you're interested

  • You have a lot of nerve singing this song

  • Agree................

  • lucinda....the best!!

  • very pretty version my favorite cover:)

  • chrissy song

  • great great great

    love it !

    thx bro

  • Grea work.

  • the best "fuck you" song ever written.

  • @septip123 aye your right sep...greatest put down song ever written...no one writes lyrics like that......peace and love and rock n roll...lennydylan...x

  • @septip123 Yeah no one can say "Fuck You" by writing a song like Dylan did!

  • @septip123 Cee Lo Green was tired of the women these days. So, he searched up this song, saw your comment and said "You know what? FUCK YOU!" traveled through time to a 1960's diner, then sang his damned soul out!

  • @septip123 Ain't that the truth.

  • @septip123 but in passive-aggressive way

  • lucinda is great

  • Great version, check out the garcia/saunders version too if you like this song.

  • for me it sound's like ms joan baez , but actually it's a good cover

  • @apaysys

Sounds like Joan Baez to me kids

  • @IrvHyatt - Sounds like Lucinda Williams to my 60 year-old ears. Having seen both of 'em perform, I'm sure it's Ms. Williams.

  • @apaysys huh>? like her better>? giimme a break.....one of his beat & they dont let him post his own here...maybe he dont wnat his own here....but she dont come close to Zimmie on this one, jesus!! not that she dont have a voice, but coooome ooonnnn......she dont come close...i wont share or send this to anyone.

  • I like this version more than the one she recorded for The Greenwich Village tribute album.

  • I LOVE LUCINDA
