I had mine for a month now. The watch is great, bought mine in stainless steel because it's harder to scratch though it's the heaviest watch I have. Everything works perfectly, bought the rubber strap also and it's easy to change between them. Took it to the swimming pool and nothing happened. For a pilot it's a must! Thinking in buying the expert pilot version now!
I'm going to buy 1 soon and I testet both, steel and titanium and its really remarkable how much lighter the titanium Version is. Compared to the steel ohne it kinda feels like a fake :D
hi would you know whether tissot expert is almost the same as tissot t touch-2. i have an expert titanium but after one year the titanium shows a lot a scratching and since they do not have expert anymore i decided to get a t touch-2 in steel. i like the expert cause its a thick and bulky and size is one factor why i chose it, if you can tell me t touch-2 is almost bthe same, would really appreciate.thanx
ive realized that buying a tissot via amazon.com can save you up to hundreds of dollars instead of buying it in a watch store. The only negative is i trust more in the warramty bought right form the store even if you pay alot more for it...
@IgorBigDick1 haha, I know its a stupid idea to buy from there, but not as stupid as getting a five-finger discount eh? I don't do the ebay thing anyways, I'm just kinda kidding with the ebay watch thing man, I'll just buy this watch if I make $700K a year
@MI6CORPORAL I have this exact watch. Its timekeeping is extremely accurate. Features are amazing. So light you forget it's on your wrist. The Titanium looks very cool and unlike anything else on the market. Had it for two years now, no problems. Was very curious to try the Altimeter in an airplane, but as I suspected as soon as they pressurised the cabin it became innaccurate. Awesome watch though!!
IS IT POSSIBLE TO DISPLAY TWO DIFFERENT TIMES AT THE SAME TIME??? coz i wont local time on the analog face and UTC time on the digital display. Can be very useful for pilots, navigators and the like!
Ive got the exact same watch as this vid. Amasingly accurate. Tissot say this watch is accurate to 60 seconds per year. I last set the time (using time from GPS) on the 9th march, its now the 15 june and my watch is only out by 1 second! My only complaint would be that the minute hand isn't aligned with the dial which looks a little cheap to me. Its aligned perfectly when in the 9 oclock position but almost 1 min out in the 3 oclock position. considering i payed $2450NZ this isnt good enough.
half of its time was on the service center and finlay they wanted to exchange the whole internal machine and want me to pay USD 200 , i refused and i threw it away.
one more problem about itsbrislet itskeep dirting my hand when my hand swet on it and my hand always had black stain.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO DISPLAY TWO DIFFERENT TIMES AT THE SAME TIME??? coz i wont local time on the analog face and UTC time on the digital display. Can be very useful for pilots, navigators and the like!
Had this watch and unfortunally lasted only 2 months after breaking down. I was told by the Tissot dealer that it is a very delicate watch that does not resist shocks.
I have a question I still have warranty but my clock is repaired for free, I have them in the compass to function close to a magnet held since the spins of the hour hand.
I ask this to be translated on Google.
Because Iam from Switzerland and i cant speak english.
i have this watch and cant be happier! ive even hit it against stuff and it didnt break or anything.. very rugged and stylish at the same time man! its great. ive hiked with it and never had to take out my compass cause i have one on my watch! very helpful! its just awesome... enough said!
i got this watch some time ago i shuld say if not for the you tube video i would not have got around nderstandiing the fuctions although the watch itself feels robust and not worth the extra money i should have setteled for the basic 1
Does anybody know what the exact differences are between this and the regular T-Touch? With the other touch models the difference is more defined but what exactly do you get for a hundred extra quid?
Waterproof to 100m as opposed to 30 allows you to swim in it - the whole watch is slightly larger as a result as the crystal is thicker. They have also added a backlight. Supposed to be slightly more reliable. The price is obviously higher (by £100+) but apart from that the same.
anyone who pays 200 dollars for a battery has been ripped off or is not being completely true. I have an ordinary touch and still have the same battery it came with in 2005. stop playing with all the functions and the battery will last. i have had no problems
purchased a tissot seastar diver, very poor in comparison to my seikos, movement came away from retainers inside watch and screw down crown complete crap, tissot sucks!
Great looking watch. I must admit the thermometer/barometer is something that really sparks my interest in this watch for all my outdoors activities.
However, does anyone know of what the battery expectancy is on the new Expert models???? i've searched and searched, and cannot find any mention of it.
It's not available in Hg, I being a pilot was slightly dissapointed by this, but I've gotten used to reading it in Hecto Pascals. Good pilot watch though, I set my altimeter before take-off, and it matches my glass cockpit for the whole flight. The compass won't work in a small plane though, al the electronics and magnetic fields make it go nuts.
Although this is rated to 100m water resistance, search "Water Resistance Mark" on Wikipedia. This gives you a idea of what you are in for when it comes to you WR rating. Believe me, they are not what they seem. I have just 'drowned' my Tissot Titanium T-Touch. Turns out that my rating of WR-30m is basically sweat proof. Not happy.
You are going to be sorry in about 2 years. I had to replace the battery after only 2 years and it cost me 300 $ CAD and it took 2 months. And it is going to be like this every 2 years !
you are talking about the old version t-touch, this one is the t-touch expert.
i have just got mine one weeks ago, it's a really good looking watch, looks very solid, awesome features.but it's bit hard to keep the bracelet new, from my experience so far is bit too easy to get scratch marks. but overall i am loving it.
I just purchased this watch today. It's awesome!!! The touch screen works at the lightest tap, the hands move smoothly, and the backlight is awesome! Also, the luminescent hands are quite bright.
The features are all great, especicially once calibrated.
mine set me back £570 but like the previous comment says it is awsome. its understated too. only problem i've found is that tissot hav produced a general user guide for the t touch range rather than a bespoke one for this expert edition.
Great review... I learnt loads. I recently bought one... the new version of the t-touch is awesome! everything works perfectly, and everything is super accesible. The coolest is the touch screen. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I had bought this watch but the problem I found is that it is too bulky for my wrist.
Even with the titanium case, it is heavy while using computer or driving.
I tried to exchange but the shop refused. Here in India, I had spend around 45000 Rs for the watch and i am regretting it.

Is the pressure readout available is inches of mercury (Hg.) and also is this a good pilot watch? Thanks

Be a lot better if it would show it that way though, could sync it up with the AWOS and make sure that it is right on.
