  • Dracula: The time for games is over! *insert epic nazi strut*

  • I AM THE MORNING SUN, COME TO VANQUISH THIS HORRIBLE NIGHT.

I laughed so hard when she said that. Who'd think to put a Simon's Quest reference in that game?

  • why are her fingers like that?

  • Ahh this brings back great memories. Call me a noob but 3DSes cant run DS games can they?

  • @nailstare Yes, they can.

  • Luv so much this song!

  • Thumbs up if you came hear from a Pokemon Video with Skarmorys, Pwitty Jems and Mudkipz.

(This is the second time I have done this)

  • 1:28= malice mizer

  • my favorite too! ^^

  • OoE was as still is a good game (even though I haven't passed it yet), loved the soundtrack, exploring the castle.

  • Shanoa needs to be in another Castlevania game that isn't Judgement. Seriously she is by far my favorite character in the series.

  • "I am the morning sun coming to vanquish the horrible night"!

  • @363Magi I laughed my ass off when I saw that XD

  • nowadays they use computer to compose this unlike sotn they used real instruments

  • No guys, I know who dislikes this....

    Edward Cullen's dislikes this!!!

  • Whoever thinks lords of shadow is good hasn't got even the slightest idea what castlevania is about. It's about emphasis on exploration and free roaming that we know as metroidvania. Why do you think vania's in that word. Lords of shadow is "NOT" castlevania a yahtzee said it's "God of war Germanic mythology edition".

  • @sergeantpepper42 Do you think Lords of Shadow is bad? Because it's definitely not.

  • @sergeantpepper42 I'm pretty sure that the "vania" part of the word is from the end of the name of the place "Transylvania".

Transylvania is where Bram Stoker's Dracula takes place. That place is often associated with vampires and Dracula, so it makes sense that it's used in the name of a game that is also about those things.

  • @sergeantpepper42 loved the story and i did'nt mind the gameplay asides from the "shadow of the colossus fights" but i will admit i did miss the castle part of this vania

  • I havent finished the game and it has already been 3 years since i started the game. why you may ask? well because if i end this game, it means im ending my life :)

  • @nagihiko9 i ended sotn, greetings from hell

  • I remember when I started the dracula's castle......

  • woah! I dind't see the arguement below.... guys now you two can unite forces against lords of shadow

but seriously I think Lords of shadow it's one of or the best castlevania game in the series, and yes, I consider it a game IN the series, it's has dracula, it has a whip, and you go forward! and what's more you got satan! the best game I bought for my xbox

btw castlevania IV(the best in the classics castlevanias) had a good music, but not really that good man, I found Sotn way better

  • After playing the entire castlevania series on emulators I must say that the funniest were Castlevania IV and order of ecclesia, specially OoE cause the gameplay is just awesome, incredibly good control and movements of shanoa, hard as fuck, but it's not frustrating... you die a ton of times but you still find funny going through th same places again, and the graphics of both games are epic, I love the sprites of shanoa... xD

  • Order of Ecclesia had much too poppy music, easily the worst music in the series besides Portrait of Ruin. Symphony of the Night and the classic Castlevanias all have the best music.

  • @SkellionPowalskiz Not true at all. Symphony has the best music in my opinion, but each Castlevania has had it's own theme and music to go with it. Portrait of Ruin's music fit it's place in the timeline, and Order of Ecclesia fit it's own thematic elements as well. None of them are better or worse, but just different.

  • @guilemaster147 Obviously it's true for me, I didn't like much of the music in the recent Castlevania games, and that's my opinion, whether it's true for you or not is no matter to me. Not trying to be defensive, but please try not to disprove other peoples' opinions.

  • @SkellionPowalskiz

your fucking insane, none of the games had bad music. and your saying portrait of ruin had the worst ost? I personally think it was the best aside from sotn.

  • @Kirbyluver2 PERSONALLY being the fucking key word here, nimrod.

  • @SkellionPowalskiz

don't bash a great game if you don't want any disagreements

  • @Kirbyluver2 How long until you realize that I don't give a shit what you say?

This is anything but a great game, it's a watered down bastard child of a Castlevania game, if you're too dense to see that each area is only bite sized and reused twice, well, I guess you're just that dense.

  • @SkellionPowalskiz

I think you're the first person who has said that, this was definitely one of the best ones, the battle system was perfect. Yea there were some flaws, but is it uncommon for a game to reuse their tilesets? And what about SOTN? The whole second have of the game was just the same exact thing but upside down. Did you even fight dracula? He freaking walks.

  • @Kirbyluver2 Being upside down is a lot more unique than being given a color palette swap. Obviously you're too biased to criticize a game that is actually pretty lackluster, but hey, that's not my problem. I bought the game, and beat it several times, but it's still a boring piece of shit compared to the earlier Castlevania games.

Then again, you're just going to keep trying to shove your opinion down my throat, so I don't see why I'm even giving you the benefit of the doubt.

  • @SkellionPowalskiz

I'm shoving my opinion down your throat? Your completely describing your discontent for the game, and just because your old gen fan boy. You hate new games and only like olds ones because your a faggot.

  • @Kirbyluver2 And you use words like faggot to describe people you don't agree with because you're simple-minded newfag.

See, I can be a presumptuous prick too!

  • @SkellionPowalskiz

why can't people just play games and enjoy them... with out being so nit-picky. And you've been insulting me the entire time, just because i used a specific word doesn't make it a bigger insult.

  • @Kirbyluver2 If I can't have my games, then nobody should be able to have theirs, it's only fair. Of course, you'll say no, without realizing, or without caring that YOU'RE getting YOUR games at MY expense, so of course it doesn't matter what happens to ME and others like me, as long as you're happy in your little bubble, everything's fine. As soon as one of your favorite games dies, and you start bitching, welcome to the party, if you even have any sense of loyalty enough to be disappointed.

  • @SkellionPowalskiz

um? what are you talking about bro. I play any game as long as its good, the system and time period doesn't make a difference to me. Obviously they don't make NES or genesys games anymore and soon they will stop making DS games. Its called change it will has always and will always happen with every aspect of life. Grow up and deal with it, no need to take it out on other games because you can't have it YOUR way.

  • @Kirbyluver2 You say that now, but sooner or later something's going to change for you and then you'll be on the other side of things, whining and bitching because something you wanted to stay the same moved on. It will happen, it's just as much a part of life as change is, so you're no better than I am. You're even worse, you try to act better than me because you have no stability or loyalty, and act as if that's a point of virtue, when it's sheepish and moronic, you just follow the masses.

  • @SkellionPowalskiz

do you even think before you say anything? Follow the masses? The masses play COD and such which i utterly dispise, its true that i hate the change happening to modern games (9/10 commercials for game are FPS) but i do not whine and bitch,I play the games I enjoy, no matter what other people think of them. How can you just assume i will whine and bitch when change occurs? I usually do complain, in my mind. And once i get my frustration out of the way i accept it and move on.

  • @Kirbyluver2 That's because you're just as shallow as the masses you apparently despise, try all you want to explain to me, but you're the same as them, you just can't admit it.

Anyway, this isn't going anywhere, so I'm going to stop replying to this, say what you want, but I'm going to bed.

  • To me this song just says "The beginning of the end".

  • I miss the DS days of 2d sprite based Castlevania. Come back to the 3DS pleeease

  • Order of Ecclesia wasn't my favorite in the DS series, but god damn, it had some kick ass music.

  • Barlowe created 2+ accounts to dislike this.

    HOW DARE YOU

    EVER FORGETTING

    WHO RAISED YOU

    YOU

    STUPID DISCIPLE!

  • @LuxConcordiae

lol, spoilers i just started this game. lol

  • The opening version of this music in the game is way better ... Castlevania should use only instrumental, elegant and classic compositions, like it used to be on SotN, not this rock-remix thing that sounds like MIDI. Konami screwed my life ...

  • Beautiful music. Best game ever.

  • Shanoa makes me moist as a fucking rainforest.

  • @Grayfog ^_^ i would F&## %the heck our of her like theres no tommorow.

  • @ValisHD Same here.

  • Why should Dracula dislike this? He probably wanted Shanoa to enjoy her trip through the castle as much as possible. Therefore he himself put this music in the entrance of his castle.

Dracula before the battle:"I haven't danced in ages."

See? Being beaten every single time, he probably thought, he could as well enjoy it, while it lasts.

Who wouldn't, with Shanoa as your opponent, right?

  • @nihil255 So basically what you're saying is this music's the bomb and Shanoa's smokin' hot?

  • @nihil255

    Lol, agreed.

  • We need a new Shanoa Castlevania. A 2D OoE 2 could be awesome on the 3DS. Can you imagine how many polygons a 3D Shanoa would require? All those fabrics and hair! Her character design is maginficent, the artwork is so beautiful.

Opening out the game beyond D's castle was a very, very good move, reminds me of another great game, Kenseiden on the SMS. The Glyph system adds alot of customization and the game looks lush. The music is awesome.

  • @Relugus The original 2 OOE wasn't 100% 2d. In no$gba, if you don't use a 3d rendering system. It won't show any sprites. So the environment may seem 2D but it's 3D.

  • @OSDolphin Yeah, let's be honest, some of that fluid sprite motion must have needed a little helping hand.

  • I have my NDS playing this in sync with youtube right now. It is epic.

  • The one dislike is from the King of Darkness himself-Dracula.

  • That's GREAT!!!

  • dracula voted this cuz he know shes comming to kick his ass

  • I have a feeling this might be the last 2D Metroid-style Castlevania. And honestly, I wouldn't mind, because it would end on an extremely high note. I don't think anything can top this.

  • @speyeker

Just my opinion, but I think Dawn of Sorrow was about as good as they got, next to Symphony. Setting aside the weeaboo elements as well as the gimmicky touch-screen implements, it was one of the best Castlevania games I've ever played. Order was definitely up there with those two, though.

On a side note, with the 3DS out on the scene, I'm willing to bet we might see more side-scrolling Castlevanias before it's all said and done.

  • @dagarugausah For me, the gimmicky touch-screen elements are something I cannot set aside. They really, REALLY dragged the quality of the game down for me. I still love the game, but it could have been considerably better had they removed the Magic Seal system.

Though, if the 3DS does get another Castlevania in this style, it'll probably be 2.5D like the Dracula X Chronicles. I think the age of pure 2D games like Order of Ecclesia is coming to a close, or at least saved for download services.

  • 1 person did not get to the glyph fast enough.

  • I have played every 2D Metroidvania-style Castlevania so far. This is undoubtedly my favourite.

  • @speyeker mine too..but it isn't exactly a metroid-vania style castlevania game..but i very much prefer the order of ecclesia style over every previous style they've done in the past. the only game in the franchise i think MIGHT be better than oder of ecclesia is lords of shadow..both are epic and dark adventures that'll live on forever in my mind

  • @speyeker It's also my favourite DS game.

  • winning! ^_^

  • Epic theme indeed.

  • I never realised how funky this song was. It's got kind of a Lupin III vibe to it.

  • i loved this game so much! also ill agree the look they gave Shanoa in judgment doesn't look very good but at least she still used the same glyphs

  • @MisterStolas They probably had to redesign her for Judgment because OoE Shanoa may even be beyond the 360 and PS3; even on those systems hair animation and detail is still limited, andalongside all that hair you've got fabric effects too. Would love to see a fully rendered Shanoa with her hair and OoE costume in all its glory. :-)

  • I've heard this song basically since the game came out, but I only started playing this game recently, and just got to where it plays in the game.

Hearing this song by itself simply doesn't do it justice. You have to experience it firsthand playing the game, and you'll see why it's so epic.

  • In most Castlevania games, the "theme" song is the song used in the FIRST dungeon.

But ah, you see, Order of Ecclesia doesn't play by the rules. ;)

  • Dis.... Is.... Badass.

  • good games; whats the name of the 1 on gameboy advance

  • I´m the 34000 viewer :D

  • Too bad Yamane isn't doing the CV music anymore. :( Can't blame her though, she's done a lot.

  • shanoa has the most epic theme...

  • I sold my copy of Order of Ecclesia to local gamestore, because I wanted to buy Black Ops.

Ever since that day, I have curled up in corner of my room, asking myself,

    "Why."

  • @CrushingEdges Eww, well at least I hope you have the 360 version of Black Ops, otherwise, you are damned, I guess?

  • @CrushingEdges I feel your pain, the CoD series suck so badly but you have the urge to buy it. So in order not to pay the full 60 for that crap, you sell some games, then you regret selling those games for that crap after a month. I did the same thing....

  • 1 disliker - Either Dracula himself or a Lord Of Shadows fanboy.

  • hmmm at the begining when i first heard this i was thinking "hey this sounds like something out of valkyrie profile!?!??" then as it went on it became something of its own though i prefer simons theme more to this, i have to say it is one of the better soundtracks of castlevania

What Is A Game? A miserable Little Pile Of Pixels!!! But Enough Talk Play on You!!

  • @DarkestXIII This post is full of 150% derp

  • They should have named this Shanoa's theme instead because it fits her perfectly.

  • NO, THIS CANNOT BE.. AAAAARRRRGGG

  • I SERIOUSLY COULDN'T BELIEVE IT

I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD GET THIS GAME!!!!!

I wanted this so badly for so long! But none of the stores had it, and it's kind of rare, and I didn't think it'd be around my area except for some secluded video game store

MY DAD GOT IT FOR CHRISTMAS AT SEARS FOR ME

    ALWIFJLWEFIJAWLEIJFLWEIJFLAIWJEW !!!! :D <3

  • Shanoa is the best Belmont ever.....wait, is she a Belmont?

  • @MissingnoTheGreat

No. As the intro states, the Belmont family disappeared for a while, I think around the 1800's, which lead to several other groups and splinter families having to take up the problem (e.g. Ecclesia, Morris family).

  • @NARFNra

Well I don't know my castlevainia that well so thanks for the info.

  • @MissingnoTheGreat

    You're welcome.

  • @MissingnoTheGreat No she is not

    she still is awesime though

  • this song makes me want to play it to the end even if it is hard as heck its just that kick ass

  • Am i imagining things...

    Or is She... Smiling?

  • Ever notice the first stage of the game is typically the one with most epic music?

  • @Rusaarules That is as often true as not. Double Dragon 1 (Game Boy) is a good example of a game where the title music & first stage music are by far the best. However, games with totally out-of-this-world overall OSTs are abound; these are just some of them: Castlevania IV, Castlevania Bloodlines, Duke Nukem 3D, Shadow of the Colossus etc. I'd also like to point out that Double Dragon II has one of the most epic final boss themes ever, with the other stages having less impressive music.

  • @nikolasbelmont Oh, I meant with Castlevania games, heh. My fault for not clarifying.

  • @nikolasbelmont

castlevania 4? dance of the holy man was awesome at the first stage and even better in the final battle against dracula (oh sorry did i forget the spoiler warning? whatever, suprise, dracula is the final boss).

  • @nikolasbelmont I'd have to argue against Castlevania IV; Dance of the Holy Man is one of my favorites.

  • @tacoman422 What do you mean by "arguing against Castlevania IV"? Dance of the Holy Man (Theme of Simon) is the music for both the first stage in CVIV and the second part in the final battle, so unless you specify some other version I don't see what you're arguing against.

  • @Rusaarules Not at all times.

Castlevania : Wicked Child (first music is Vampire Killer)

Simon's Quest : Bloody Tears (first music is Silence of the Daylight)

Bloodlines : Calling from heaven for me, Iron blue intention for the most people (first music isSoul Reincarnation if i remember)

    Etc...

  • @DamascusTer But they do do their job and sitting the mood of awesomness :)

  • @Rusaarules I agree to this point. Even Harmony of Dissonance, which has IMO the worst musics (I wonder why, Aria of Sorrow is also on GBA but has much better musics and sound quality), had a great "first level" theme (Successor of fate, AKA Juste's theme).

  • @DamascusTer Bleh, personally I couldn't stand any of the music in Harmony of Dissonance, and it was the primary contribution to why I consider it one of my least favorite of the Castlevania series. The sound quality for the system it was on was just too disappointing.

  • @kirbyfreek33 I agree with you, and what's funny is that Castlevania Circle of the Moon had lots of Awesome musics, a better gameplay, better graphics, let's say Harmony of dissonance was a downgrade in those aspects.

  • @kirbyfreek33 For me too HoD is surely my least favorite for several reasons, but I liked Successor of Fate... At least, his remixes !

  • @DamascusTer Setting* Brain fart, heh.

  • @Rusaarules Contra...nuff said!

  • Ah, this reminds me of owning everything with my lvl 236 file with nothing but rapidus fio and nitesco

  • Ever Castlevania Michiru Yamane Composed Rocked

This game is my fav game

  • @darkraibreeder

    Amen, brother...

They can't accept the fact that Shanoa kicks more ass than some of the most powerful past male protagonists of the series~

  • Ain't just the most beautiful character in the whole series but also the most powerful (O_O') she contains an arsenal of powerful glyphs like nitesco and all her melio class glyphs O_O

  • Most epic song for the best and sexiest castlevania hero

  • Hur Shanoa's a purrrdy girl ^_^

  • Before this song there is the most epic cutscene of the game, then the most epic song of the game and after that the most epic ass-kicking of the game.

  • im dancing

    and air keytairing

    oh yah

  • @genesisSOC agreed. And of course, please don't interpret "I thought it was too easy" as "I thought it sucked." AoS was an amazing game. The plot twist at the first end boss forced me to stay up until like 4 in the morning to finish the game. I just found it incredibly refreshing to get my castlevania skills ego decimated by this game. It made me its bitch, thereby reminding me of the good old days XD

  • @kombinat0r the days when games actually presented a challange? xD

  • This one is probably one of my favorite castlevanias since SotN. It brings back all the atmosphere and spookiness, and worked really well as a hybrid of the Metroid style and the old school NES/SNES styles. I liked having a bunch of the levels just be linear with a boss at the end, and set in like graveyards or forests and shit like that.

Plus the game is pretty fucking hard too. I thought DoS and AoS were too easy, but this game tore me a new asshole in a few parts, especially earlier on.

  • @kombinat0r While Aria is my favorite, I do have to agree that this one was amazing as well and I was expecting another "easy RPG Castlevania" but this one proved me wrong. By the Giant Skeleton boss, I realized that this wasn't your easy Castlevania any more. It really felt oldschool and true trial and error. I absolutely loved every minute of it. As Shanoa said, "I am the dawn come to vanquish this horrible night!" Sorry if I said it wrong, but, it was still epic reference.

  • wow she's so pretty and she can kick my ass talk about the girl of my dreams

  • so good that words can not discribe how awesome this tune is

  • @professionalpoliwag

when you kick vampire-ass you dont care much about how your hands are looking

  • This needs to be on Guitar Hero...

  • this is the area I always hang out in when just fooling around

  • LORD DRACULAAAAAAA!!! D8

  • @RCDeschene I lol'd. XD

  • @RCDeschene lol. those stupid enemies pissed me off... XD

best track in the game. easily. :)

  • Thank you so much for this upload.

    This song is so epic.

  • She went badass when she lost everything.

  • This song is awesome! It´s always in my head!

  • What's with all the hate on OoE? It's yet another fantastic 2d castlevania.. but this is coming from a guy who absolutely loves every single Castlevania except for the N64 entries, including Simon's Quest and Lament of Innocence..

  • @koopakape Does that mean you liked Curse of Darkness? I enjoyed Curse of Darkness, and I've been wondering if I should check out Lament of Innocence.

  • People hate OoE because it is one of the good CV games that is an outcast.

    List of outcast CV games:

    CV2

    CV64 and LoD

    CV Circle of the Moon

    CV Lament of Innocence

    CV OoE

    CV HoD

all good games and really underrated

  • Here I go. Its time to die. Light and Darkness strike! Bring to me Rage!

  • let me guess...

Castlevania Judgement Shanoa's hyper move? (or whatever u call them)

  • AY PIC

  • epic? anybody says that epic?

    yeaaah!

  • @homosapien62

DID I HEAR AN EPIC? HUH?

  • @homosapien62 this is better and cooler than epic

  • This song needs more comments; it's so awesome.

  • Awesome track. I didn't really care for the game personally, but I do like the soundtrack!

  • My Favorite Castlevania OOE Tunes:

    1. Wandering the Crystal Blue

    2. An Empty Tome

    3. Jaws of A Scorched Earth

I have 1 & 3, But I just can't find this nice little tune (#2) anywhere. Does anyone know where I can get it?????

  • "I am the sword that will vanquish all evil!"^^

  • Man, still and still listening it from your channel.

  • ^_^

  • @nikolasbelmont

  • @hydrowk12 And you know that even if there are only 3 or 4 tracks out there of the game not to mention the game isn't even in store...

  • @nikolasbelmont true that I love this game series

  • @nikolasbelmont EXEPT FOR THE CASTLEVANIA LORDS OF SHADOWS THE SOUNDTRACKS ARE TOO WEAK
