@YTR0009 its not a game boost, its just that if you brake for too long the car stops and in TA you don't want the car to stop for even that 0.00001 second so they wall tap so the car bounces off the wall, you'll lose enough speed to make the turn possible and the car won't stop

@MegatronZ2885 Japanese versions of the cabinet can record the race, and have it transferred to DVD/Digicam for a price. You'd notice that all clear recordings of the game are in Japanese. Too bad the NA cabinets don't have this luxury.

yeah same here in the UK for initial D i have two cars at like battle level 14 (highest by far in my area) and the game is massively unpopular comapred to mt3 so there is no challengers at all for initial D so i've had to change to this :/

and i tested out Maximum Tune. Eh they're both very different in many ways. Initial D feels more realistic i can tell you that. You need to drive on both games then you can decide which one is better. It's all about experience lol.
