Mahalo kimonui for posting this. Ah, wonderful carefree days. What year is this? And is that a very young Benny Chong playing guitar? Does anyone have any footage of a performance with Uncle Don and a young woman named "Scrappy Oliveira"? She sang I'll remember you while the duet part was "She's gone again".
You may mean Robin Wilson. I just acquired one of Don Ho's albums with her singing those two songs with him. She is now married and lives in Southern California. Don't know if anyone has footage, but I'd be interested too. I understand she went to Hawaii for the reunion a few years back and there was a TV show of the reunion.
Went to see him on my honeymoon in 2005. He brought me and my wife onstage and I got to sing New York, New York onstage with Don backing me on the keyboard. Mahalo for the great memories Don. Hang loose, my friend.
HOW AWESOME!!! Don Ho was so AWESOME!!! Thank You for Posting KIMONUI.
