Nobody gives two shits about your four minutes and twenty seconds of crap. Once it FINALLY started, the review was excellent. I hated Terminally Unique though. There is an EMO lyric on that song at the 3:40 mark, and I can't look past it. They should have re-recorded that vocal section, but the other 13 tracks are awesome!

Get the album 'Wrath,' by LoG. Better than Sacrament in my opinion. Look up the song 'everything to nothing' from the Wrath album, should give you a taste, awesome breakdown, badass solo and some absolute shredding at the end. Shit, here you go...

When I say the album is almost all one tempo what I mean is most of the song's riffs are used repetitively whereas the older albums had riffs with differentiating time signatures and tempos that went from doom metal to thrash. The new album is very full on, it gives me no time to breathe lol.

Another great comparison about the double standard of "same-sounding" bands is how Slayer can released the same shit over and over again and be praised yet Lamb of God get shit on.
I think Lamb of God are going to be exactly like Megadeth, Metallica, Testament, or any other metal band - they have that spark for a few years, then its gone. Sacrament and Ashes of the Wake are going to be their Rust in Peace/Master of Puppets. I do not mean any disrespect towards any of their music, because personally I love it all. But its just my opinion.

I love the first 4 tracks (including The Passing intro) on Wrath and also the 7 minute closing song Reclamation, there is also a 6 minute closing song on Resolution which is also gonna be the longest song on the album

Earlier the album more brutal and raw it gets, the more recent the album the more crisp and 'heavy as fuck riffs', ear bleeding, ass exploding, eye popping, mouth decaying metal that gets consumed in every way fashionable possible...
@VoidiFOpened1 Resolution shits all over Wrath, and the version that was leaked was really poor quality. He is right, all tracks kick ass. Wrath only had a handful, but was overall a weak record.
@KillThrill103 At least Burn the Priest had originality, Lamb of God is the same exact shit over and over again. They use the exact same riffs, practically the same lyrics and nothing is original.
@SpartanCarver I do, but the sound for Burn the Priest was more on the death metal side, whereas with albums like Sacrament, Wrath, etc, it's all the same exact riff, whether backwards, sped up, slowed down or exactly the same. It gets rather boring rather quickly. When it burns down to it, I'd much rather have Dirge Within make a new full-length album.

I think Lamb of God are going to be exactly like Megadeth, Metallica, Testament, or any other metal band - they have that spark for a few years, then its gone. Sacrament and Ashes of the Wake are going to be their Rust in Peace/Master of Puppets. I do not mean any disrespect towards any of their music, because personally I love it all. But its just my opinion.

Pretty sure that's just about every band. They'r the best when they're unknown and hungry for the fame. Once they get that fame the drive to bust ass and churn out ground-breaking shit is for the most part lost. I've heard the new album, it's badass.

I love Lamb of God but doesn't anyone think the new album is almost all one tempo. The riffs and composition are no where near as creative as pre Sacrament stuff. 11th Hour mmmmmm.

I really liked Wrath, for some reason no one liked it, it was a VERY technical album, and i love that kind of music, especially "we die alone" and "shoulder of your god" such great songs.

I love the first 4 tracks (including The Passing intro) on Wrath and also the 7 minute closing song Reclamation, there is also a 6 minute closing song on Resolution which is also gonna be the longest song on the album

Earlier the album more brutal and raw it gets, the more recent the album the more crisp and 'heavy as fuck riffs', ear bleeding, ass exploding, eye popping, mouth decaying metal that gets consumed in every way fashionable possible...

@SpartanCarver I do, but the sound for Burn the Priest was more on the death metal side, whereas with albums like Sacrament, Wrath, etc, it's all the same exact riff, whether backwards, sped up, slowed down or exactly the same. It gets rather boring rather quickly. When it burns down to it, I'd much rather have Dirge Within make a new full-length album.
