@MrTimjd123 Why, thank you! :) Live shows?...I beg your pardon, I'm not quite following. Are you asking me if the person who made the cover did it live? I wouldn't know if that's the case :( I've heard it said I have the wrong artist in my credits. Someone else apparently made this cover...I'm still confused about it, lol.
Agreed...although Shirley Temple was adorable (and would have worked for the part in terms of age and such), I just can't see her being Dorothy, not after what Judy's done with the role.
I just found out who it *really* is: Chris Impellitteri. I have a different name in the credits because someone titled it with the wrong artist by mistake. No worries, hope that helps! :)
I know this response is late and all, but I have read all the Wicked books to date, and am anxiously awaiting the release of the next one (whenever it's finished) :)
Me too...I didn't actually cry when I used to watch it, but now when I think about how I can lose a friend at any moment it makes me cry when I see the end...:( But thanks for the comment!!! :)
Yippie Skippy!!! :) I don't own that one on DVD yet, I still have my old beat up VHS, LOL XD Hopefully I'll get a copy for cheap now...or at least CHEAPER than it was...
The role of Dorothy was given to Judy Garland as a sweet sixteen present. The movie was still in the writing process at the time and Shirley Temple was up for the role as well...But let
s face it... No one could have been as good as Ms. Garland in this one! ^_^
Too bad they couldn't have done Return to Oz with her...*mumbles*
I know, I couldn't picture Shirly as Dorothy...I saw Return to Oz a LONG time ago, I find it interesting Dorothy could stay that young after all that time XD LOL, kidding, it was only like a few months or something after Wizard I think. But NO TOTO??? That was NOT cool!
I know! I wish I knew Dorothy's secret! Plus she got younger too! XD
Fairuza Balk was nine/ten when she did that movie. I haven't read the book...But I don't think Toto was in that one...And if he was the person who adapted it into a screen play did a good job of making up for his disapperance.
He wasn't, I believe it was that Hen you saw in the movie that's in the book too. :) Don'tknow for sure but I thought I heard that from somewhere. And yes, I wish I knew her secret too, lol. XD
fucking AWESOME!

Noo I thought she was 15 in this movie...I've heard it somewhere else, because the character, Dorothy Gale, is only 12 years old.
