This is the year I got to shake his hand and speak with him. (I got to speak with him again 10 years later - real nice guy). This is also the period of time when Randy looked his best (no homo). What is he, about 40 here? God, I hate getting old. But he sounds/plays just as good now as ever!
Amazing -Randy Jackson is the man! Thanks for posting this amazingly good sounding video. Going to see Jackson performing Zeppelin tunes with a full symphony next month. ...Would rather hear one of the best bands of the 80's ZEBRA!
Some of the best years, living on "the Island", this really brings me back to the days of real rock and roll, partying, long hair (back when I had hair...ha-ha) and good times...those days are gone however I still have a very old casette tape of the original Zebra album...still makes for great workout music...miss you all out there from Huntington dayz....RIP Dave W and Dave P...sad to hear how you went out...
New Orleans and New York(Zebra's "other home") have known about Zebra since 1975... and the WBAB Homegrown Album helped them get signed with Atlantic records! The demos I've posted from 1978 are the real thing, recorded by Randy, Felix and Guy without the "help" of Jack Douglas, who edited and watered down their sound on the first Zebra lp in '83...
