love bebo. love this interview. it is my hope that i, too, will be able to hear God speak to me or find Him somewhere or in something during the course of my life. i'm 35 now and still struggle with why i'm here. bebo has cleared a bit of that fog for me...

In May 08, I was weeks away from finishing chemo, and I had the opportunity to meet Bebo. I had listened to his music so many times while I was driving to the cancer center. From tough times to happiness, Bebo's music inspires me! We again met him in Nov. 09. Talking to him is like talking to an old friend. He's so down to earth. I can't wait for his new album! I hope to be seeing him in concert for years to come! :) (he was also born in '73)

we just need to remember one thing whenever we struggle.

we've been saved by grace. If this salvation doesn't mean to you anything, then you may have to try to find what true definition of being a 'Christian'. Bebo's lyrics and songs touch people's heart but I also believe his songs glorify the God and that's all we need to do, too. whatever you do, you please and focus on the God.

Bebo is the real deal. His words about "growing up," being a "real man" remind me of John Eldredge's description of becoming a man in The Way of the Wild Heart (book). He says that we're all given a "kingdom" of some sort - whether it's our home & family, our work, or some other area of influence. We come to the place where we're challenged to take responsibility for our kingdom - and be a good, righteous king (or queen). I suspect Bebo is becoming a great one.

Every one has been helped by God. What people don't see is the little things God helps you with. God doesn't appear in a magestic light that comes out between light. He helps people through other people, through your actions, and through what happens. People just think that the person that helped them is the only one involved. God may help in a direct way or indirect. In other words he helps a lot and he's a pretty cool guy.
