The little angel/chicken thing is the real Mikeru. He needed someone of Panthalassa blood so he took over Mikaru's body and stole a part of her soul, causing her health to deteriorate. The part of Mikaru's soul that Mikeru stole was transformed into the fake Mikeru as seen in the anime. Clear enough? Probably not... Ah well, I tried.

Oh cool! It's really confusing because on this one site that has the lyrics they call it "Ashita ga Mienakute" but I've seen it more oftenly called "Tsubasa wo Daite" so, yeah... Kinda confusing. Thanks so much for helping me there!! XD
