There was a similar sketch put on by my school the other day. It was a 4th wall-crushing skit, where a pair of actors would try to put on a cheesy scene untill a director came out as if they were on set rehearsing instead of putting on a show, untill another director came out following the same process and turning the predecessing scene into another fake, acted out scene. And so on, and so on, untill nobody knew who the director was. It was fucking awesome.
