Grandparents? God, now I feel old--my mom watched (and loved) it as a kid. (She said that a boy in her class took a picture of the Enterprise off his TV and tried to say it was a UFO. XD) It was quite popular with pretty much all the kids her age--hardly an 'old people' show. She and I are both psyched for the movie to come out, and wish it hadn't been pushed back to frigging May, dammit--I was looking forward to seeing it this Christmas.

Actually if you watch some deleted parts of the interview, Leonard actually says something about not wanting someone who just looked like him, but could play the part well. Leonard, I think, seems to approve of Zachary and they've become very close if you've watched other interviews with them. I think Zachary Quinto will make a great Spock and I wish him the best of luck!
