System boot up times are majorly handicapped by the BIOS. An SSD will make a difference in boot up times, but versus a fast hard drive the difference won't be huge. However, in general usage, an SSD makes a computer way faster and feel much more responsive.
lol yah honestly that is really not even that fast, at all. you might have a few things booting on startup like services/programs etc. My 7200 Seagate loads just as fast. Only thing expensive ass SSDs are good for is putting a few games on.
In my opinion there is no difference on how fast the boot speed and shutdown speed for SSD in Windows 7 since booting speed an operating system is depend on how overall hardware speed react.. example: the speed on loading display driver depend on how fast the display card react during the boot up... but it would make a big differences if you load up several applications on SSD after the boot.
i have the same ssd my computer take less then 19 secs to restset and boot up
