I hate how all these scene kids listen to deathcore or metalcore bands and say that they're "the shit", and then if you ask them if they listen to any actual metal bands, or death metal in-general, they say that they don't because " They aren't br00tal enough."

Kids don't have good ears for great music these days. FYI, I do like deathcore bands, but I'm really not into the metalcore genre, mostly because of the horrible lyrics, bad clean vocals, and the techno breakdown they keep abusing.

I don't think they say they are hardcore, and City of Evil is a decent album. Besides, That's not true, I listen to all kinds of shit and can tell you that there are many great metal bands out there, like Cattle Decapitation, Acacia Strain, Despised Icon, Between The Buried and Me, Necrophagist, Braindrill, and Black Dahlia Murder can be aight at times. Just my Opinion I suppose, but I also like Protest The Hero's Kezia and Fortress albums as well, mathcore but still.
