500 acres a day with 1 Combine? Come on man even our 12 row 9860s only average about 300 max in a FULL day.12-16 hrs we rest em for cleanup and refuel and quick maint. Oh yeah and SLEEP.LOL Thats incredible! Cut me in or cut it out my friend.LOL
ya well we own 12,160 thousand acres of land and we got 6 combine 6 trucks and we haul out about 1,500 loads of corn and beans each year so we do more work than all of you guys.
good good video. we recently bought a 8010 but we keep having a problem with the unloading auger falling off, the whole tube and all. its real bad when we cross deep ditches really fast with the auger out
you shouldn't cross any ditches with you auger out you must want to make work for yourself. our auger only goes out when we unload and we stop to unload it only take a few seconds. remember things always go wrong when you rush
yea i agree things do go wrong when you go fast. i once ran a log (8" diameter.) through the throat of our combine but thought maybe it would go on through so i kept going. it made it through the rotor and the clean grain elevator but once it was in the bin and we tried to unload, it destroyed our unloading
auger. should have just stopped and oicked it up outta the field.
Time is money. Big corperations never would think to stop and unload. A tractor comes to the combine not vice versa. It's faster and overall more productive.
i understand that. but running down the field with your auger out and not unloading is not good for the unloading system. i new a farmer that use to do that and ran their unload auger into a light pole turning around on the end
@Rumble211 thats true but everyone is not an operator, some are just steering wheel holders!!!!!!!! lots of people say they can run a piece of equipment but not run it properly, leading to break-downs and lots of money being spent fork fuck ups or plain stupidity!!!!!!!!
The seives will oscillate to 11-14 degrees so you dont overload your seives and throw corn out the back. I've combined slops steeper then that with a CR940 and never through anymore corn or wheat out the back then normal. JD always said that those seives were heavy and complicated. Now their new combines are gunna have them Typical of Deere I guess.

with a big crop like this year it doesnt make sense to swing the auger back as its always over the grain cart anyways

@lilduck99 every farmer is not blessed to be a large corp. there are a lot of small farmers out there that still do things the old fashion way!!!!!!!

Wow...Nice I think the way it looks You need a Hillco leveling system on that 8010
YoderMillie 4 years ago
