  • Hey, thanks for your answer :D

I bought last Week the Top 27" iMac with, 2GB, really, 2GB of VRam. I think its enough for Video and Gaming for the Next Years.

    I

  • Hey, cool Video.

    I have a Little Question.

Are 512 mb for the 27 iMac enough?

The most people say always, oh i have 1gb, oh i have 2gb of vram.

But 512 mb are good, too? I mean, the new "little" 27" iMac 2011 is better than the two 27 imacs gen. bevor of course?

  • @AnnoPirat Macs r desgined to run on less hardware specs than many pcs so 512mb is perfect for it. for most pcs, 512mb isn't rlly that much to brag about, but 512mbs base on all imacs is very good compared to the 256mb previous generations. plus with the on chip intel hd 3000 gfx, it should b fine for most anything. the hardware specs on the base 27" r good enough to black black ops on high settings and mw3 (possible requirements) on high also.

  • Is it difficult to set up?

  • WAIT?! macs dont need a computer tower!?!?!?!? i didnt see one in the video

  • @benry200 The screen is the computer :P

  • @benry200 no... dont need :P

  • @benry200 nope, this one is an all-in-one with the actual computing hardware built into the back of it. apple is using mostly mobile hardware (ex: for laptops) in these iMacs, except the hdd, cpu, and mobo, to decrease power consumption and heat excess. the only macs that need a "tower" r the Mac Pro and the Mac Mini.

  • im having second thoughts about macs. i hate them but i love there screens

  • think so...

  • you must get the booklet it has stickers on it so u can stick them where you want to

  • But it heats up a lot

  • Beautiful simple display but I can't understand why this machine don't have blu ray or the option to order with it.

  • Welcome to the iMAC Group buddy :)

  • Go Aussies WOOOOOHOOO!!!!!!

  • Lol " its got a black apple at the back". Anyways, nice video!

  • hey how is it in australia? because one of my friends said that its too hot everythings exspensive and there are lots of bugs is this true?

  • hope you have some shades on those windows behind you, or your gonna have a fun time looking at yourself in the day time.

    Yet again, great unboxing :)

  • welcone to the mac life =)

  • aHAHAHA, YELLOW SCREEN

  • counting from 1 to 4 is so difficult :D

Damn i would get the iMac 27 in 2 weeks...It will be so nice

  • macs are outdated when they put the first screw in it, powerful apples would not exist if there werent a vast world of computer components driven by the windows market. however apple are so beautiful and understated design, that function must follow form. its just like I would never buy chinese crap at IKEA, and some folks would never buy italian design furniture with 4 digits price tags. the two systems and its users have different taste. you do not quarrel about taste.

  • @lakshmere dont watch mac vids if its not ur taste. rofl..

  • It's not.

  • Who cares if the 4850 is mildly outdated? i run all my HD applications and all my games in 1440p all maxed out, no problems at all. Why complain?

  • @DTOSX666 *Cough* What games?

  • @bood3e

Go check the new Mac library on Steam and I also use Boot Camp to play my Windows games.

  • @DTOSX666 too bad you need to buy windows disk to get bootcamp windows

  • @bood3e

Fuck that lol I pirated it.

  • @DTOSX666 Pirate ftw !!!

  • @eddles777 Awesome, so with your PC, you can have up to date computer parts, at a cheaper price, and than have to bring it in to get fixed every other month eventually adding up to even more than the price of the Mac. Nice choice bro.

  • @ilovedagreenday lolz i fix my own pc hahah XD i dont need other nubs like you touching my pc lolz

  • @eddles777 Of course you wouldn't need people like me fixing your computer, you dip shit, I don't fix them. The price of the parts though will eventually add up and than you're paying the same price. I hope you're only like 14 or 15 though, if you're calling people nubs, and you're any older, that's kinda sad. Even though you look like a nerdy asshole for saying it at any age.

  • Next year, the shiny new awesome model is ugly and obsolete

  • @eddles777

your kidding right? this Machine is a steal especially if you get the i7 option for $200 extra. At around 2k you won't find another machine better then this. make way for the real Prosumer experience, PC's are just toys.

  • I have a similar. Its a beauty.

  • Should have mine next Friday.... Can't wait!!!!!

  • this is the one my husband and I are getting when we save up enough to spend on it :) i can't WAIT!!! our first mac :)))

  • Have you had any problems with screen flickering or distortion yet?

  • No. Fingers crossed it will not happen. Make sure you keep up to date with new software which Apple have been releasing for the iMac to fix this issue with some machines.

  • im getting the i7 one in Feb for my 18th Birthday i cant wait coz it will be my first Mac :D

  • Getting mine just after xmas :) What a machine!

  • 5 stars and congratulations on your new iMav :)
