Well just wanted to let you guys know, i didnt go through with doing the fix as shown in the video on my own, didnt want to do any damage to the wood and leather. So when i took the car for a service and mb, i told them to fix it. They charged me 2 hours manual labour(charge of 100euros per hour) and apparently it took them 2 hours to fix. When i heard this i was furious, as the video is only 10, i showed them the vid, and the deducted 30 euros from price. not taking my car to mb again, thiefs
@harryv27 hey there, sorry to hear that. these videos arent really to expose people just to show you how to do it yourself. Sometimes the labor time is partially to diagnose it correctly. Cant blame all dealerships for one guys mistake. Glad to help out tho.thxs for wathcing
My 3 year old has stuck a coin in the cd player, the radio works fine, but the cd player wont. Any ideas how i can get the coin out without damaging the head of the cd player laser?
@LUVboys69 hey, if its an aftermarket radio. i would look up the company website. they have wiring diagrams that can help and might supply a plug and play harness.
I have a mercedes c220 1994 and I recently changed the head unit on it. Unfortunatly I could not find the power cable to conect to the head unit so I had to run the head units power cable directly to the battery. This method kills my battery. Is there any way you could help me out? Thank you so much
@xxchrisx9 hey chris, the power supply should be on one of the two connectors that plug into the radio unit. there is a fuse box on the driver side underneath the hood. Check all your fuses with a test light and the key on (position 2, right before car starts). it normally has two either a 15amp blue or 7.5 amp fuse. if your still stuck just write back.
Hey the stereo in the video supports AUX cable thing. Just wondering coz I am about to upgrade on my Mercedes

@Tijender i believe all the aux functions come on the 204 newer c-class models. I am sure there is an after market on though

I have the same setup but it's a LCD navi screen. Do you think there is a way to replace the LCD if it's busted in the navi.
kpart20 8 months ago
@kpart20 I'm not a 100% sure what you mean actually but if its part of the radio then no its not a separate piece. if you want send me a pic.
