Im kinda new in real time render engines. Im really interested in UDK and Cryengine (this latest one seems very easy to manage). I noticed that your video havent even a single frame droped. Does UDK include a way to export a "cinematic" without lossing frames? I mean, some kind of rendering engine that export all as video like you can do in 3D apps like 3D Max, Blender, etc...
@wrazor Naaah :P. I've started working on other scene now :p . Will put one more movie in this week and i think that i'll just end with this scene :P (maaaaaybe :P).
@hydzior just asking .... could you release the map ? with source files for models , scripts ..... onl for training and educational purposes ..... like dungeon defenders ..... looks faar too great to not make it a UDK SHOWCASE MAP
@smajky yuuup ;] . Healthy and ready to do something :P . This weekend probably will show some new postprocess changess and monorail :P to get this scene more alive .
this is mindblowing. i also read in the description that you worked on bulletstorm. Dude, i just want to say that that game was one of the most fun games i have ever played in my life, and probably the best fps this gen
Are you a level designer? I have some interest in joining that specific field in game design. And if you are a level designer, do you have any advice for students like myself?
haha I have waited for your next release so bad! The level looks so freaking cool and dense right now. I hope in the future there will be more ingame videos then just renders. Renders take away the atmosphere because they look totally different and have less quality in most cases. Just awesome work I must say. I would really like to just walk around the place. Any plans on releasing this or is it a showcase for a portfolio or just pure fun and interest?
@TriInfinity Its for my portfolio :P . When i'll start on the next project (will be cool to and also realtime video) i think that i'll put this scene on the net . Just some tweaks , more interior details and i'll stop doing this :] .
@hydzior Ahh cool. It is really inspiring work. The amount of work time and dedication to detail and over all look and feel is astonishing. Game developers should set their priority to games with this standard of atmosphere instead of making games 3 times in a year. I wish back the old Unreal titles they had a similar feel to them.
Are the anamorphic flares just lens flares or post processed?
