Credible musicians who write music for the sake of music, and not trying to sell of make a name of themselves are not posers. Try not to fail at making a intelligent statement next time.
@Psychedelicircus 1986: I was in West Coast Video, when they sold music, posters and tapes. I was 8 years old and brought The Trooper poster because it looked cool. My friend at the time came over and saw the poster and said, "You like Iron Maiden?". I said "who?". Then he played them for me that day and they been my favorite band ever since!
Steve Harris is my main influence in music. Watching his Bass playing helped me become an awsome Bass player.
"What will I be doing when I'm 60?" Lol he's getting close, what like 6 years away? I bet if we told him back then that they would be this successful right now, he'd think we were fucking crazy lol.
Man!!! Steve is so blessed by God, great musician, loves heavy metal, and hes a great dude, not like other fancy fucks with no talent.UP THE IRONS!!!!!!!!!
I was born in '89. They were still pretty young back then.. Bruce still had his long hair, and nobody could rock a mullet like Adrian! Fucking awesome!
i love how he says he WONT be jumping when he is 60. nowadays i would guess him to be pushing 60 and he jumps around the same as he's always done. steve harris is a legend, he also made this video (maiden england)!
That was the year I, too, listened to IM for the first time. I found my little brother's Powerslave album in the family's record collection and put it on out of curiosity. I was thirteen and this was the moment heavy metal entered my life. It has never really left me, either...
wow haha, thats 3... my dad first showed me his powerslave album when i was 11 and i've been listening to them ever since... im so excited for the calgary show this june
@Fritha71 Hey, that's similar to my story too! Well, kind of... the first song I technically liked was Flash of the Blade, so my first album was Powerslave as well :D. My older brother was listening to it, so that's how I heard it.
It was after seeing a concert (June 18th, 2008) that I became die hard fan, though :DD

Odd that he would go the opposite way when editing the Death on the Road DVD, those 1.5 second cuts during the first several songs are quite jarring.
