I paid 6,500$ for it and it came with the mods that are on it. And I love how you try to compare a mustang to a Corvette. Ask any corvette to go race the GT40 (the car designed as the vette killer than also took the win from ferarri in lemans) all other muscle cars copied mustangs. @pkidro From May '09 - May '10 The Camaro outsold Mustang by about 13,000 units I believe I read. I own a '96 Z28. It's to bad it took Ford this long to make a decent horsepower engine (the '11 5.0). the 4.6's and 5.0's all sound retardedly good though, it's just to bad the horsepower was never really there from the factory. Obviously excluding the Cobra's and what not cause they're just badass.

bullitt has better suspension, exhaust, intake manifold from the factory, rear spoiler delete, chrome gas cap, and better interior and retro gauges or whatever you wanna call it. alot pricier than a gt too.
if anything look for a 2001 cobra. The 99 had problems with the intake and exhaust design that made less actual horsepower than the 96-98 cobras. Plus the 01 has the same interior as the 03-04 cobra with the leather and suede seats and the newer style 6 disc cd changer. but if you can find a 99 with proof the previous owner took the vehicle in to have the problems fixed it would be a good buy.
thanks alot but I'm aware of all of that. That huge recall was a pretty big deal, it's the reason there is no 2000 cobra except for cobra R...but yeah 99' cobras come alot cheaper than 01s so i'd most likely be picking up a '99 even though i'd hope to find a nice 01 that i could afford

my bullitt sounds better...with headers. ive got a bullitt with bbk longtubes and bbk catted hpipe with the bullitt catback. sounds nice and burbaly at idle and roars in the rpms. in between shifts when the revs drop it gives that header sound, just beautiful sounding. i will be getting a pipes violator catback and will make a custom hpipe with cutouts.
