  • I love this Pantera!

  • hmm i dont like terry's voice :D

  • How bout Venom and Sodom and Bathory. They are very good metal bands, Sodom and Venom were playing in 79', there the true pioneers of thrash if you ask me.

  • anyone else hear a variation of stone cold crazy's main riff?

  • I'm uploading the entire "Projects in the jungle" album in 1080p HD! All you insane pantera fans, check my channel when it's finished. I will upload their entire freakin' discography!!!

  • ny favourite song

  • there one of the only bands that actually got heavier every album. i fucking love it! long live pantera!

  • @fastruck96 yeah I almost agree entirely but I still think 'Great Southern Trendkill' is heavier than 'Reinventing the Steel'.... Reinventing the Steel = Far Beyond Driven

  • Cool.

  • This sounds like Anthrax lol

  • @killtrosity he does have a beldonna sound to his voice.lol and the riff is in that territory as well.

  • strano XD

  • Stay strong & be tough!!!!

    Kim aka Jade

  • FUCK YEAHHHH!

  • i love 80s metal it is fucking the best. thank you for uploading you are one rocking mother fucking legend

  • after cfh, it seemed like pantera forgot about all their 80s material. a shame, because there was some really good songs from their first 4 albums.

  • @clem070605 Yeah, but IMO the new pantera is waay beter.

  • @clem070605 for what i´ve read they didnt forget about it, they just didnt wanna re´release it as the progressed into something far more heavy and different, a shame thou, they didnt release a box or something pre´cfh or something

  • GLAMTERA!!

    SHES OUT FOR BLOOD!

best song with glaze in the band in my opinion

  • so fucking sick!

  • Old Pantera is the best pantera, in my opinion.

    So damn raw!

  • I found this album at amoeba music in SF for like $5 lol, it rules.

  • sounds like Queen's Stone Cold Crazy

  • That was it !! kew it reminded me of something ... but still good ...\m/

  • Cool!

  • yeah but some sick guitar work here....damn dime damn rip brother

  • Dude, the guitar playing is freaking sick!!! Dimebag is amazing.

Was this the same singer? I'm gonna guess no. lol.

  • that's buddy blaze! Pantera outgrew his vocal style and recruited phil anselmo. Phil's first album appearance with them is Power Metal (1988). HOLD THEM FUCKIN HORNS UP!

  • your not saying Buddy Blaze was singing 4 "PANTERA". Are you?

  • No. I meant Terry Glaze, sorry.

  • He actually went by, "TERRENCE LEE". Really cool, funny as hell.

  • Terry Glaze. Pantera outgrew his vocal style and recruited Phil Anselmo in 88. Check out Power Metal.

  • Hey that song sounds pretty good, I'll try to keep the singers names in mind, I've always like pantera's vocalists.

  • Phil was recruited in 1986 not 1988. He didn't make his first album appearance until 1988's Power Metal album. That was pantera's last "glammy" album.

  • i though power metal was their first heavy thrash album. I wouldnt know though i wasnt even born yet when it came out.

  • It was their most heavy/thrash album at that point but it still had many glam metal elements. The rythm, lyrics, and style was all glam, but it was their transition album, sort of the bridge that they needed to build to cross over from glam to heavy, thrash groove.

  • If I remember correctly it is Terry Glaze....

  • Pantera fucking rule, if only we had more bands like them instead of the emo, screamo shit you get now i mean wtf

  • I'm honestly not a big fan of Terry Glaze's vocals... probably why I don't like Pantera's first 3 albums. The rest of the instruments are still fucking amazing, though.

  • pantera before cowboys from hell is like a mixture of van halen, and judas priest. Love the energy of this album!!

  • haha it makes me larf that the pantera fans i know have never heard this lol

  • @thrashmetalowns666 Well then how are they fans?

  • @thrashmetalowns666 I personally don't like early Pantera because I prefer the metal voice of Phil over the Led Zeppelin type of voice. Not that Robert Plant isn't a great singer or anything...

  • @legendofownz this is metal singing(and its more of a rob halford style than rober plant). metal bands used to have singers as opposed to screamers/growlers. it doesnt make it any less metal. with that said, i will say that i do prefer later pantera, but this shit is amazing to me too.

  • @codebabe don't get me wrong i absolutely HATE modern metal. i just got the impression that you thought i listen to scream/growling bands when i don't. pantera is borderline for me when it comes to screaming. i'm more of a fan of 80's metal and in particular, thrash

  • @legendofownz yeah pantera & some other bands started that.

I usually liked Judas priest & nitro singers. but too many bands today sound the same & the singer have the same style of singing. so i don't like alot of new bands either

  • @codebabe I agree for the most part but hetfield and tom araya always had an aggressive shouting tone to their voice even back in the 80s. for example Kill Em All (1983), an album older than this one features noticeably more aggressive vocals from what would become the most mainstream family friendly metal act. I've always liked metallica and slayer more than megadeth and anthrax just for that. But yeah, barring Metallica, Slayer, Sepultura and Motorhead, the 80s bands all sung this style

  • @MegaMcClarey thats true. btw, i just like megadeth most because they were imo the best ensemble. more of a thinking-style of thrash. more exotic lead guitar work than the other thrash bands. metallica were that way at times, but megadeth is that way more often. anthrax and slayer are rad though. i love those bands.

  • @codebabe yeah I see where you're coming from. My love of metallica comes from the thinking style of metal when you consider how progressive and almost symphonic and epic beautiful master of puppets can be as an album. Not saying I dont like megadeth or anthrax. I was particularly impressed with a new song I heard. I'm actually quite the maiden fan, I just think Bruce Dickinson is better at that style of singing than all those guys who sound like each other. I like unique voices.

  • @MegaMcClarey yeah metallica did have a more symphonic sound than megadeth. i guess with megadeth the thinking style comes with how complex they were. not only with speed but marty friedman's arpeggios and his knowlege of theory. exotic scales and technique. i like metallica and megadeth most because they were the smartest of the big four. I love Slayer, but when you listen to all four of the bands it is obvious they were the 'last' schooled musicians I'm also A HUGE maiden fan. Dickinson owns.

  • @codebabe In terms of technicality I would say it goes:

    1. Megadeth

    2. Anthrax

    3. Metallica

    4. Slayer

Of course that doesn't mean that EVERY Anthrax song is more technical than EVERY Metallica song etc. but in my opinion that's how it normally goes.

  • @clem070605 hmm i hear alot more Guitar technical stuff in Metallicas OLD stuff than Anthrax.

Testament, Over kill & Exodus are once again Over looked. like the were in the 80's

  • @MetalHeart8787 Testament are awesome, definitely a very underrated metal band. I haven't listened to nearly enough Overkill, but I've liked what I've heard. Exodus have never really never done it for me, but that is just my opinion, and I'm not saying they are a bad band or anything.

  • @clem070605 yeah the only good work that exodus did for me was bonded by blood. that was it lol after taht no more

  • @bradaman96, What the hell have you done that is so great ? Do you even have one ASCAP song, or did anything worthy of mentioning in public that you can be so critical of others ? I bet your a horrid hack at the instrument you attempt & can't even take the dishes out of the sink before you piss it ! Remember what era this is, & you were still in a messing your diapers @ thus point ! Weren't ya ! Know that every one evolves @ a certain rate, & you still have to do your bit there Rivet head...

  • @thrashmetalowns666 eard this song in 1991 i was like who the fuck is this

  • @thrashmetalowns666 not true Pantera fans then! \m/

  • @thrashmetalowns666 yeah, you're so in-the-know, hahah...can I suck ur dick now or wait till u go platinum?

  • @thrashmetalowns666 I would larf too if I knew what it meant roflcopter

  • @killtrosity roflmmfao wtf does is a roflcopter? is that like the wafflecopter?

  • @genkill89 Its where you laugh so hard that you turn into a helicopter, its pretty nonsensical.

  • @killtrosity lol i c i c,i like it!

  • i always thought he said

    off the blaze not

    out for blood

  • how this guys didn`t got signed in those years?? well.. maybe it was better the didn`t
