  • The words to the song are from a traditional song/poem for children.

    Cuckoo, cuckoo, what do you do?

    In April I open my bill;

    In May I sing night and day;

    In June I change my tune;

    In July away I fly;

    In August away I must.

  • @yauchiam Cool, thank you!

  • @CaliforniaJoker1 You're welcome. Thanks for posting it up. There is one small correction- in July it should read "In July far far I fly" in this version of the song. The song is from Benjamin Britten's album Friday Afternoons, children's songs for children's chorus and piano, Op.7 and can be purchased here at classical archives

  • @CaliforniaJoker1 - one correction, In July its - "In July far far I fly"

  • Another variation of the song by Lissie, from her album "Catch the Tiger": I walked alone, I never tried to stay in line I didn't know what I was doing half the time I didn't know that my life would ever change I didn't think that anybody'd felt the same way And then you came I fell in love with being defiant In a pickup truck that roared like a lion ... They couldn't break us, they could never turn us cold, no You and me, well, we were never growing old
  • Used to great effect in the Moonrise Kingdom trailer, major kudos to whomever made that decision. I think of Cuckoo's as quite mischievious characters.

  • I want that globe wall paper in my bedroom. Very nice video.

  • @tnninja The paper's pretty cool! Happy you enjoyed it : )

  • I do love this. Cannot wait to see the movie either.

    NICE ONE DUDE
