OH MY GOSH I saw the special on the Diamond Edition of The Little Mermaid that they wanted to make this ride and what it would look like and everything is exactly the same as it was on there! I can't wait to go on it!!!

I loved the submarine ride they took out for this at Disney world. But I can visit the subs at Disneyland. I love Disneyland and now DCA!

@tylirb What are you talking about? Yes they do. In fact there is an entire website devoted to all the beloved attractions removed from all the Disney parks. The website is called Yesterland. There's sections for Yesterland, Yester World, even Yesterland Paris. Fortunately for this one they removed a pretty lame attraction at California Adventures.

I'd like to ride this opening day, but I know it's going to be a zoo. The only hope is that some of the crowd will be standing in line for the re-imagined Star Wars ride at Disneyland. It opens on June 3rd also.

From what I can tell, the main character animatronics are fully articulated, but all the other characters are not... I wish the budget had been great enough to more fully articulate the other figures in the attraction.

These are the same clamshell vehicles that Florida has in EPCOT's Finding Nemo ride. Will the Magic Kingdom Ariel ride be the same? That would be wierd. I thought it was supposed to be a boat in Florida not an omnimover.
