I really loved this footage also, even though i was 2 when this came out. I was born and raised in the Ida B Wells til I was 20. I remember that Mayor Byrne came to out projects to do a little something. I really,really miss stuff like this. Families were still tight back then.
This is nice. It shows the positive side of cabrini green. just hardworking people having some fun. Not all that drug dealer gang stuff.
