So disappointed. I love Kucinich. I love him like crazy, but to get behind this ultra right wing nutjob, just because he's an outsider? No, Dennis, no.
@echofirefly I agree with you completely. I kept seeing people asking for a Kucinich/Paul ticket and thinking they were just ignorant not realizing how different they are on most issues. I was so disappointed to hear this. Still, I would support Kucinich in any primary over the other Democrats that have run.
I know that Obama has the 2012 nomination secured but Kucinich needs to consider running on 2016. I don't have much hope left for the rest of the Democratic party but it would be really sad if Hillary Clinton is the best that the dems can do on 2016.
Mr. Kucinich, I would vote for you any day for President. But Ron Paul is a racist, a sexist and a homophobe. He isn't qualified to be elected dog catcher. He would segregate the white dogs from the black dogs. I find this speech deeply disheartening.
“I’ve been told not to talk, but these stooges don’t scare me. Threats or no threats, I’ve laid bare the coming race war in our big cities. The federal-homosexual cover-up on AIDS (my training as a physician helps me see through this one.)” From 1993.
Would you like more direct Paul quotes? I have a number. The man in an embarrassment to America.
Wooh, words written twenty years ago, ouch, almost feels like dropping a bomb on a defensive civilian in Iraq or Afghanistan, oh, wait. Obama secretly signed for the NDAA bill yesterday, but lets discuss the supposed lunacy of Ron Paul. You buffoons are nothing but war mongering useful idiots. Are you even aware of this bill, clown? This secret policy requests a 25% increase in funding to start asking for your papers everywhere you go. Keep up the good work, pawn.
@RaniK I am fully aware of Obama's actions. And I am disgusted by them. And he is *still* a more sane choice than Paul. Paul can be right on certain topics and bat-crap insane on all the others. He is a racist, a sexist and a homophobe. Words matter. No matter when they are said. Until he retracts them AND lives by that retraction, those words stand as his living testament. He is qualified to be dog catcher.
Do you not realize how delusional you sound? America is dead. Waging wars is ABSOLUTELY okay, killing hundreds of thousand civilians is okay, removing freedoms is okay as long as you aren't an alleged "homophobe, sexist or racist." Thats all you buffoons have really, a 20 year old news letter. Oh, too be mentally inept and unwilling for actual change. War on drugs, FUCK YEAH. LETS BOMB IRAN BRAH, SYRIA WE COMIN' YO TO SPREAD TEH DEMOCRACY WIT TEH BOMB YO.
@RaniK Paul wants to end the *federal* War on Drugs. He has no problem with *states* continuing the racist War on Drugs. Paul is all about state's rights. But he would stand idly by while a state voted to strip any citizen of their rights. The only people safe in a Paul America are white, straight and male. Do you know how delusional you and Paul sound?
Obama already stripped every American's right by secretly signing for the NDAA. I think its obvious you are another shill spreading bullshit to undermine Ron Paul and actual change in America. "The only people safe in a Paul America are white, straight and male." No wonder America is fucked, they are populated by mental cripples such as yourself. Admit it, you are a warmongering buffoon.
@tetsubo57 That's because he doesn't believe as President he can dictate what the states should do. If you want liberty from tyranny, then you need to vote for someone like Ron Paul as your governor.
Currently Obama has put military and indefinite detention over state police and courts!
@moonjp Paul would be one of the worst possible choices. The man opposed the Civil Rights Act of 1964. He is insane. He isn't qualified to be dog catcher. he would segregate the dogs by color.
@tetsubo57 Barry Goldwater, more famous nowadays for opposing DADT, also voted against the act. Al Gore Sr. voted against it. 40% of House Democrats voted against it. To imply that having voted against the Act makes you a racist is absurd. If you'd done your homework, you know that Paul stresses the Jim Crow Laws as having been unconstitutional, and opposes the '64 act merely on one provision, on the grounds of economic freedom. Even Eric Dondero says Ron Paul is by no means racist.
@klickklackklau Paul supports individual freedoms over civil freedoms. Which gives you the absurdity of a private business being able to put up a 'Whites Only' sign in its window. That isn't equality. That isn't civil liberty. That is a dog whistle for the racists to flock to his cause. Remember, Paul called minorities in America 'animals'. He knows his target audience well. Keep blowing that dog whistle.
@Kallero If Ron Paul does not get the GOP nomination (which by all rights he should, but due to main stream media BS and the elites efforts at stealing the election will prove most challenging) I really hope that he goes for a independent run, maybe with Kucinich as his VP. If they won, it would be such a victory for America on so many levels.
I like Dennis a lot, but if he had the conviction of Ron Paul, he would have run against Obama this time around. Ron Paul will buck his party when his party is wrong. Dennis needs to do the same.
I don't agree with Kucinich on a lot, but I do believe he is a real american. I would vote for him if he was running against any of the other republicans but ron paul.
@RonPaulTRUTH I agree. Kucinich is wrong on a lot of things but at least he's sincere which is more than I can say about every other democrat in office.
That could never happen. It's already a stretch for Ron Paul to run on the Republican ticket, even though he is a conservative, but to have a Democrat running under the Republican ticket it would never be approved by the Republican party. My hope would be that Paul would gain so much momentum that when he finally ends his campaign to be the Republican nominee and hopefully runs as a third party, that they'll actually allow him into the presidential debates. It's definitely a long shot though.
@paulyd0021 Screw the republican fanboys/fangirls. The real people who are going to support Ron Paul are blue republicans. These are the independents, moderates, and the non-brainwashed democrats and republicans who are sick and tired of politicians being scheming self-serving bastards. They see that Ron Paul is an honest person whose promises they can trust.
A Paul/Kucinich may divide the republican base, but it would unite the country.
@Kruezoraxe As a die-hard liberal all I care about right now is ending this war OF terror. The economy can come second, please just stop murdering and torturing human beings already!
@Kruezoraxe No, no one is going to vote for those 2 kooks. The county is waking up quickly after 4 years with a communist President. Kucinich and Paul are both kooks, both unwilling to defend this nation - and Kucinich is farther to the left than Obama on social (handout for bums) issues.
@bibbler227 You must not have read my post. I said screw the fanboys/fangirls. I made a second statement referring to the non-brainwashed as well. It's pretty cool that you can write but can't read.
@jaseins That comment was in regards to someone who said a dual party ticket would be impossible because it would divide the republican base. My point is that it would bring together the non-extremists regardless of their party.
@Kruezoraxe i see. thanks for the clarification. though i think Paul is an ironic Republican in that his speech his more civil and consistent than the average Republican while his policy is more extreme (probably because he's more honest), yet the thoughtful Democrats would screech in their tracks upon his nomination. of course, our government isn't decided by thoughtful Democrats, but at least we managed to elect one. it's a start.
Mr. Kucinich I was not surprised at all, you are honest and Ron Paul is honest. I may not agree with your policies but given a choice between you and anyone else (Ron Paul not included) I will vote for you.
This speaks volumes about Kucinich, not Ron Paul. But make no mistake that Kucinich is also telling the truth when he says he and Paul are MILES apart on domestic policy. Ron Paul's ideas would take us even farther in the wrong direction by giving even more power to corporations. No thanks to Ron Paul.
@sallyhampton If that's the case, why have no large corporations donated to Ron Paul?
Because Paul believes in stripping corporations of handouts, benefits, subsidies, and bailouts. If you don't like corporations, if you believe that they should be under the same market pressures as everyone else, if you believe that the government should stop holding their hands, then you're with Paul.
@DarthKrattus Darth - I believe the corporations need to be regulated to protect the public from abuses and the same with banks and wall street - no more wild west. We need to bring back Glass-Steagall regulations that were lifted. It was the lifting of these and other important regulations that led us to where we are. The leave it all to the market mentality is what caused the banking fiasco.
Sally - It's not, actually. You have to look at the Federal Reserve's expansion of credit which led to artificially low interest rates. The Austrian theory of the business cycle accounts for the recession quite well. The housing boom was artificial; people had no real savings but investors built housing projects under the false pretense that lower interest rates were the product of long-term savings, and the consumption of housing through unreturnable loans caused the recession.
@DarthKrattus - history tells a different story if you follow the timeline for Glass-Steagall. And it was lack of regulation and oversight that allowed the crooks on wall street to behave like casino operators. Anyway, my disagreement with you is the one Kucinich has with Ron Paul and was my original point. Kucinich does NOT agree with Ron Paul's deregulatory policies.
@rhth79@rhth79 Yes - that would be fantastic and someone should do it! I would to hear them debate healthcare. Dennis Kucinich co-authored HR-676, which is basically a bill that would improve and expand Medicare to all Americans (by removing the waste from private insurance) and would save 500 billion a year. Ron Paul wants to further deregulate private insurance which would leave consumers even more vulnerable to rising premiums and denial of care for profit.
@psalmsmith yes, but not for the reasons you probably think. I will try to find the video where he describes his reasons for voting against it. He doesn't support any re-regulations on the banks including bringing back Glass-Steagall. You can try to find evidence to prove otherwise but I don't think it exists. Bottom line, Paul is simply anti- regulation across the board.
Even thou they have different ideas on domestic policies, at least Kucinich is an honest man who will tell you what he believes that will help this country. Dr. Paul's current economic plans actually saves social security and medicare for elders and child healthcare, so Kucinich won't have to give up any of his principles if he were to join Ron Paul as his VP running mate.
@sga86 Ron Paul would be death of SS & medicare. He advocates for less regulation on Wall Street (we need Glass Steagall back!), privatizing SS (turning it over to wall street!) & on healthcare Paul is exact opposite of Kucinich, who is co-author of single payer bill HR-676, which would improve and expand medicare for all. Wall street has controlled our healthcare & Ron Paul would allow private insurance middlemen even more freedoms to rob us and deny/delay patients for profits. NO THANKS!
Class Act and intellectual. I am a conservative/libertarian, but he obviously has integrity and likes debate and ideas rather than demagoguery and sound bites.
God Bless you sir. As a libertarian I disagree with you on many issues, but still rest knowing there are still good men in Congress who love their country more than themselves.
You, Bernie Sanders, Rand Paul and Ron Paul are prophets.
i dont entirely trust Kucinich after his bellying up to obama
but this ticket would both feed the idiots what they want (someone squishy enough to soften ron paul) and give us what we need (monetary policy that will break the NWO strangle hold)
~Everyone must remember that to actually have Ron Paul as the Republican nominee, they must register (however difficult) as a Republican in order to vote in the primaries.
This message NEEDS to spread in order for him to get the nomination.
Also, check out "Blue Republicans" if you're on FaceBook (Dems, Inds, and Progressives all registering as Republicans to vote for Paul).
Thumbs Up to spread the message, and make sure to find out when your state holds it's primary!!!
Paul/Kucinich would be an unstoppable force of they team up for the next election. Paul is the true republican, kucinich is the true democrat. They would lure both right and left to their cause.
@rhinnawi95 He's against the initiation of force and for taxes in certain instances, but sound money... so technically not with us--BUT... he supports single payer medicare for all, which would actually be better than the Obama plan--though I am opposed to it. Dennis Kucinich would be an amazing secretary of state!
He's for ending the FED, ending NAFTA/CAFTA/WTO, etc... and defunding Israel. Great man, really... he just has an ideological difference on "Promote the General Welfare" and how
@getsetrecords I'd take that over Dick Perry any day. I still prefer Ron Paul, but, again, honest politicians who I agree with on the more important issues are the ones who get my support, not false campaign rhetoric-using "generic" politicians.

@sga86 Oh, we'd all better get used to it. I'd also like to hear "Supreme Court Judge Andrew Napolitano", Secretary of State Dennis Kucinich, Vice President Gary Johnson, and maybe even Treasurer Ralph Nader? (I want him in there, too. I'm sure we can squeeze him in somehow). Or Nader can be Secretary of State and Kucinich Treasurer. Either way, with these guys, America wins (as does the world).
Romney can't miss out on the fun, though. He'll be ambassador to Afghanistan. They'll love him ;)

You people trying to put Kucinich and RP on the same ticket are morons. You know nothing of politics or economics. They fundamentally disagree on just about everything but war.
They agree that government should not be running people's personal lives either. They agree about the war on drugs etc. It's complete garbage to claim that they agree only on war. As a matter of fact, they'll probably only disagree on economics. Everything else they disagree on, mainly socially, is something RP believes should be left to the states anyway, and not to the federal government.
@tridentmovies Kucinich wants to ban private ownership of handguns. Kucinich wants single payer healthcare. Kucinich wants European style taxes. Kucinich thinks the government should be regulating every aspect of business. Kucinich supports hate crime legislation. Kucinich wants to expand the welfare state. Should I keep going? Get a clue you idiot.
@ACRanger13 All true, but you have to respect his consistent resistance to the American empire, which is draining us far worse than any of the above items that you mentioned.
Kucinich is a gun-grabber though.. check out his gun policies. I like most of what the man says but he thinks only police and military should have guns. I will never vote for him as long as that's what he believes.
Ron Paul is against social security and such. But he believes people are too dependent and it shouldn't be messed with for them. A Kucinich/Paul ticket would probably have more compromises like this, and one of them could be that Kucinich would leave the 2nd amendment alone. If he wouldn't i doubt RP would join Kucinich anyway.
RON PAUL, WE ARE STILL WAITING FOR AN ANSWER! TELL AMERICAN PEOPLE HOW EXACTLY RU GOING TO CREATE JOBS? OK LETS SAY ALL TROOPS CAME BACK AND THEN WHAT? THEY ARE GOING TO SELL IPHONES AND BLACKBERRIES? DUDE BE A MEN, HOW RU GOING TO CREATE JOBS? POPULATION OF CHINA IS 1.4 B CHINESE WORK LIKE ROBOTS, BE HONEST TELL AMERICAN PEOPLE TO BUY UR BOOK U NEED CASH , U LOVE POWER, U LOVE CASH, U WILL NEVER CREATE JOBS, U HAVE NO ANSWER!
Kucinich is the only guy who sounds legit when he says work together (with people like RP). All the other pussy big-gov Dems like Obama are just giving you lip service. If the economic debate was only between Kucinich's and Paul's theories, we would definitely have SOMETHING better than the bullshit we got last week. Paul 2012
@shanemosser word. it would be so fascinating to listen to what paul and kucinich would be discussing over coffee or dinner. that would be a conversation i'd love to eavesdrop on!
Wow ... Amazing! This won't win any all-Dems-are-evil-trust-none-of-them Republicans, but this ought to open the eyes of some Democrats and Independents.
@RedGyl Independent here, and yes. I support both of these people, and I understand that the Democratic party has had a hostile takeover from non-democrats. I made mention of this several times.
The democrats have had the most sorted past of both the parties, dating back before the civil war and revolution. However, that is because of mob-mentality which the current democrats are foolishly promoting.
That doesn't mean that democrats are bad, I do not consider rogue democrats as democrats.
I don't agree with Kucinich's Socialist economic policies, but I'll give him credit for this glowing endorsement of Ron Paul. RP is on a different level.
Wow, that made my day! The eagle does have a right and left wing, haha. Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich! These are the kind of wonderful men who we should have in office.
I love to hear both of these guys talk about each other....such respect for each other...we need them both..RIGHT NOW!!!! RIGHT NOW!!!!! Bush was an idiot, Obama is the biggest disspointment, we need some intelligence and practical experience. Paul/Kucinich Kucinich/Paul I could care less who leads....let's rock the house....ROCK the FUCKING HOUSE!!!!
Wow! Think about the possiblities. A true right candidate and a true left candidate together......... Both of these men are open to debate and comprimise, THATS WHAT LEADERS HAVE TO BE!
I think we have to make it compulsory for presidential nominees to pick their vp from the other party so we can stop fighting over parties and start focusing on the issues.
what the hell would hannity and colbs talk about all night? Well truth be told H&C would attack both either way as they are for big govt, globalism, and blood in the streets and they would hate a Kucinich/paul administration
As a Ron Paul supporter and a conservative i would have voted for Kucinich. I may not be economically on the same page but i know he is an honest person who actually cares about this country unlike those who were nominated in 08.
@y0k0z00na Not all states require you be registed Republican to vote Republican. For those who can be Independent and want to be, I advise you look into this.
@senseijosesuave I agree. I agree with Rep. Kucinich on most things, disagree with a few. But more importantly he cares about the country. I agree with everything Ron Paul says as well. At the end of the day, both these men are brave and care about the country.
I'm a right-libertarian and a supporter of congressman Paul. Being used to the voraciously spiteful and arrogant left-wing of my country, it's refreshing to see a left-leaning politician as open minded and sympathetic as congressman Kucinich. We might disagree on the issues, but the mentality he displays here is the most fundamental thing, and I'd be thrilled to see him on a ticket with senator Paul.
I saw you speak on Aljazeera today. I’m ashamed that such wimps like you exist at all and especially in the US Congress. You are a mistake – you square heartless empty suit
Don’t talk for me, don’t use the words “people of America are tired of spending on wars” you are not speaking for me.

@Kruezoraxe No, no one is going to vote for those 2 kooks. The county is waking up quickly after 4 years with a communist President. Kucinich and Paul are both kooks, both unwilling to defend this nation - and Kucinich is farther to the left than Obama on social (handout for bums) issues.
bibbler227 3 weeks ago
@bibbler227 You must not have read my post. I said screw the fanboys/fangirls. I made a second statement referring to the non-brainwashed as well. It's pretty cool that you can write but can't read.

@Kruezoraxe Divide the Republican base? It would reep utter and complete havoc on the Democrats.
jaseins 3 weeks ago
@jaseins That comment was in regards to someone who said a dual party ticket would be impossible because it would divide the republican base. My point is that it would bring together the non-extremists regardless of their party.
Kruezoraxe 3 weeks ago
@Kruezoraxe i see. thanks for the clarification. though i think Paul is an ironic Republican in that his speech his more civil and consistent than the average Republican while his policy is more extreme (probably because he's more honest), yet the thoughtful Democrats would screech in their tracks upon his nomination. of course, our government isn't decided by thoughtful Democrats, but at least we managed to elect one. it's a start.
jaseins 2 weeks ago

No thanks to Ron Paul.
sallyhampton 1 month ago
@sallyhampton If that's the case, why have no large corporations donated to Ron Paul?
Because Paul believes in stripping corporations of handouts, benefits, subsidies, and bailouts. If you don't like corporations, if you believe that they should be under the same market pressures as everyone else, if you believe that the government should stop holding their hands, then you're with Paul.
DarthKrattus 1 month ago
@DarthKrattus Darth - I believe the corporations need to be regulated to protect the public from abuses and the same with banks and wall street - no more wild west. We need to bring back Glass-Steagall regulations that were lifted. It was the lifting of these and other important regulations that led us to where we are. The leave it all to the market mentality is what caused the banking fiasco.
sallyhampton 1 month ago
Sally - It's not, actually. You have to look at the Federal Reserve's expansion of credit which led to artificially low interest rates. The Austrian theory of the business cycle accounts for the recession quite well. The housing boom was artificial; people had no real savings but investors built housing projects under the false pretense that lower interest rates were the product of long-term savings, and the consumption of housing through unreturnable loans caused the recession.
DarthKrattus 1 month ago
@DarthKrattus - history tells a different story if you follow the timeline for Glass-Steagall. And it was lack of regulation and oversight that allowed the crooks on wall street to behave like casino operators. Anyway, my disagreement with you is the one Kucinich has with Ron Paul and was my original point. Kucinich does NOT agree with Ron Paul's deregulatory policies.
sallyhampton 1 month ago
@sallyhampton How nice would it be to hear that debate?
rhth79 1 month ago
@rhth79@rhth79 Yes - that would be fantastic and someone should do it! I would to hear them debate healthcare. Dennis Kucinich co-authored HR-676, which is basically a bill that would improve and expand Medicare to all Americans (by removing the waste from private insurance) and would save 500 billion a year. Ron Paul wants to further deregulate private insurance which would leave consumers even more vulnerable to rising premiums and denial of care for profit.
sallyhampton 1 month ago
@sallyhampton You are aware that Ron Paul opposed the repeal of Glass-Steagall, right?
psalmsmith 1 month ago 2
@psalmsmith yes, but not for the reasons you probably think. I will try to find the video where he describes his reasons for voting against it. He doesn't support any re-regulations on the banks including bringing back Glass-Steagall. You can try to find evidence to prove otherwise but I don't think it exists. Bottom line, Paul is simply anti- regulation across the board.

I consider myself to be conservative/libertarian, and I would vote for Kucinich over any Neoconservative

ligerman30 2 months ago
Even thou they have different ideas on domestic policies, at least Kucinich is an honest man who will tell you what he believes that will help this country. Dr. Paul's current economic plans actually saves social security and medicare for elders and child healthcare, so Kucinich won't have to give up any of his principles if he were to join Ron Paul as his VP running mate.
sga86 2 months ago
@sga86 Ron Paul would be death of SS & medicare. He advocates for less regulation on Wall Street (we need Glass Steagall back!), privatizing SS (turning it over to wall street!) & on healthcare Paul is exact opposite of Kucinich, who is co-author of single payer bill HR-676, which would improve and expand medicare for all. Wall street has controlled our healthcare & Ron Paul would allow private insurance middlemen even more freedoms to rob us and deny/delay patients for profits. NO THANKS!

It's not enough to say "Vote Ron Paul"
PEOPLE NEED TO SWITCH PARTIES 12 WEEKS IN ADVANCE OF THE PRIMARIES IN MOST STATES.
IF YOU DO NOT SWITCH IN TIME YOU CANNOT VOTE IN PRIMARY.
IF YOU ARE NOT REGISTERED REPUBLICAN YOU CANNOT VOTE IN PRIMARY.
IF RON PAUL DOES NOT WIN PRIMARY, NO GENERAL ELECTION! REGISTER AS A REPUBLICAN. FIND OUT WHEN YOUR STATE HAS PRIMARIES. FIND OUT WHERE AND VOTE.

Romney can't miss out on the fun, though. He'll be ambassador to Afghanistan. They'll love him ;)

They agree that government should not be running people's personal lives either. They agree about the war on drugs etc. It's complete garbage to claim that they agree only on war. As a matter of fact, they'll probably only disagree on economics. Everything else they disagree on, mainly socially, is something RP believes should be left to the states anyway, and not to the federal government.
tridentmovies 5 months ago
@tridentmovies Kucinich wants to ban private ownership of handguns. Kucinich wants single payer healthcare. Kucinich wants European style taxes.
