I agree - a superb musician all the way. I am deeply impressed by his rich, plaintive sound, and his marvellous sense of musical line. Even where music, such as here, borders on the sappy, he still stays on the side of sincere, the honest, the true. Very nice indeed, and deserving of the deepest of compliments. It will be a pleasure to follow his career.
Richard is absolutely amazing. He completely changed the definition of amazing violist. His music is beautiful and portrays emotion through it that only string instruments can portray. As a violist myself I know the skill it takes to play this beautifully.
His music has an honest and sincere sound. It goes right to the heart. There is nothing fake or showy about it. That's what I like about his viola.
