@TheFD68 Are you serious? This game is not a sim, there is no "True Drift", and if you are talking about E-Braking to "Drift" that is in fact a "Power Slide" . Go play GT5 and see how hard it is to accomplish a true drift in that game and see how long it takes you to either A. Enjoy yourself and have fun or B. Get bored and give up because you can't drift under realistic conditions.

Hmmmmm now which one is more accesible and easy to enjoy with or without another human play......

And i catch on pretty quickly but when i played that game in the arcade, it just didnt feel right and turned out to be a FUCKING SHIT GAME!!!!! i hate a game called "project gotham racing" so i will continue to criticise initial D and say that its SHIT over and over and over again. these ports (from the arcade games) have always been Japan only. However, if you buy the Asian version from Play-Asia it comes with a full English instruction manual. The only downside is the Asian version does not feature online play, although I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be able to use the online feature on an Australian PS3 (pretty sure its region locked for online)

This game is on exact precision so ever little bump that slows you 3-10 Kph is crucial, because while you lose that 3-10 kph your opponent gains 3-10 kph, added with the line you need to get maximum distance out of your speed, it ends up being a very unforgiving game when you start battling in the higher levels. Especially when your really good, you can have practically a flawless run and just nick the wall slowing you 3-4 kph once can completely lose it for you.

I'm sure there is smoke from the rear tires, but even in the Arcade version you barely saw smoke from the rear tires going into a drift because you were fixiated on winning the race. And, it's also funny that the PS2 versions of Initial had little to no drifit physics at all. Keeping it a true to the manga since the manga's primary focus wasn't exactly drifting as it was in the anime. Either way this game gets a 10/10.
