you can acually know what weakness is without boney using sniff:

when they strike a pose it says one of the three of them called out and depending on who calls out will decide on there weakness:

barrier man: pk fire

barrier gal: pk freeze

barrier dude: pk thunder

It's more ethically justified than legal. It would be only legal if they made a backup of the ROM and patched it with their own equipment. Now I highly doubt Nintendo would go after anyone for doing that, but it's not legal.

I had to fight the Trio without PSI Shield Omega. It's tougher, but definitely not impossible. You pretty much have to use the defense lowering trick though, in that case.

I Found all the bosses in the game really easy...

Except for the second Masked Man...

I killed the first Masked Man in 4 turns thanks to PK Ground. :D

They are probably the most challenging bosses in the game, atleast they were the only ones I had to activately level up for... still, glad to help.

Gee wiz, I really don't know... however, my tip is to check all of Lucas PSI, and if you have accessed that purple shield I constantly use in my video you should be fine throughout the fight as long as you heal. If you don't have it, level up until you get access to a new PSI and check if that is the one.

Isn't it possible to reach that area with only Lucas and Boney? I'm fighting them right now without Duster, and I know that it is possible to skip getting Kumatora back til later... If you made a video of beating them with only Lucas and Boney I'd be impressed.

It would be very possible, as you only need Lucas to have the PSI shields done, still very hard though. I might try but I have had problems with recording...
