I love how you trap people multiple times, what the hell, where did they go the first time you trapped them, they just show up again in the same scenario. That tells me the programmers were lazy and the people getting trapped are dumb :)
Love this game though, and the SCD version is the best one, it had the cheapest looking video and something about the expanded graphical/control display that makes it endearing. Same for Night Trap
one of my classics! beat the game back in 94 when i was like 6! lol i was a game fanatic at an early age! i notice something too....majority of ppl I know that started playing games at young ages are smart! so video games do help ppl expand! math science ect all of those things come with video game territory! lol
I last played this over 10 years ago, and I still remember most of the FMV sequences from Act I by heart. I was in middle school back then, and I don't think I ever got through Act II, so I don't know the rest nearly as well.
Watching this, I know every line in the cutscenes right before they say them.
Don't tell anyone, but sometimes I do catch my self singing, "I'm flying at the moon, and I switch to tunnel vision."
i have my own opinion like you do. i can speak out if i want to and that was my opinion the cd and 32x were one of the biggest faliures in gaming history. they ran off their own power adapters wich was a nightmare to deal with, the 32x had mechanical problems in some cases and the cd was like watching low-budget CRAPPY movies and that sucked. that's my opinion about this so... court ajourned *bang gavel*
their was nothing wrong with the Mega cd it was just develpers made rubbish games with low res videos for it.Thunderhawk and sonic cd were some of the good games made for it
@zerofighter87 I must've had a later version of the 32x because mine didn't run off its own adapter. It just plugged into the top of my Genesis and played.
Also, it was actively used for four to five years and still played well when I sold it.
I won't try to argue against your opinion on the games, because, well, it's an opinion. I'll just say that I was a fan of the games for the SegaCD, and the FMV games were among my favorites.
Man...o man... I use to play this alot and I was really good at this knew every pattern...and cutting corners....goooood times. and memories. Thx for posting this
How come every time I save the dude from luigi and punch out the handyman in the basement corey haim comes back and tells me "I don't know whose side you're on" and I get a game over.. wtf?
Obviously if you saved Brutis, the game goes on. If you punch the handyman on ACT 1.. he congrats to you. As the game goes, do not trap the handyman on act 2, then you'll really be hurting.

heh, the Sega CD is not an 'application' for the Genesis. =P
Maybe you meant 'accessory.' .. or 'add-on.'

I can't believe that DOOM, the father of survival horror games as well as Night Trap and mortal Kombat ( all great games) got the ESRB started.

this game actually seems like it has its merits.
I wouldn't mind playing it. It certainly looks like it has tremendous replay value.
