This reminds me of my relationship with my Grandfather. My parents were always busy at work (and my older sister got very sick, which meant my mum had more time with her) so my grandparents raised me. I lost my grandfather, who was the closest to me, last year. It's getting close to the first anniversary of the day he died.

I litterally had to feed her and make her study for the finals. I had to keep her alive! As we studied she'd say she can see her dead brother standing behind me.. when I said he wasn't there, she yelled at me so I lied and said I could see him too. then she would yell at me again and say I'm lying he's dead! o_o What was surprising is that she graduated with 98% which was a REALLY high score! It was like magic! We're both in enginering right now.. her little brother can smile like the sun now :)

Her dad and brother were sent to germany for treetment for 8 months! she stayed at home with her little sisters and had to take care of them. It was her last and most important year of high school
