I actually saw Scream when I was a kid. but, I do remember flipping stations on the radio back-when (U.S.) & it landing on a commercial station & Nirvana was play'g. twas like some1 beamed me 2 another planet. I echo what Dave says. it was completely Surreal. Before 'the year punk broke', bands like Nirvana were never in the charts. Foo Fighters would never have charted when I was in high school. The Husker Dus et al of the world..that came just prior....it's all about timing. Still surreal 4me.
