The new site is wonderful - great job! Hope all goes well with the trip - in the long run things will get easier and easier, but in the meantime ....well, ya just work through it. Give my love to Moran, and hold onto a generous dose for yourself.
I wish I was as strong as Morgan. When I was dating Kerry the best I could do was continue to call him by the correct pronoun while his family continued with the wrong one. I sort of get the feeling that with something like that its a matter of time. Eventually people like that just get tired of being obstinate. Its definitely irritating for the partner. I didn't like being thought of as a lesbian by Kerry's parents as i'm sure Morgan doesn't like being thought of as straight.
My experiance with family reaction was not well at all...and my friends *the 4 that I have* are very accepting...so, there's some light in the darkness....^_^
I'm bisexual in the sense that I don't see gender as an issue and I think love is love regardless. I figured this out when I was 12 and found myself dreaming of girls (I am a girl), I had always kissed girls growing up. My family was shocked and my dad made perverted lesbian jokes but now they're accepting. Since I was so young, I was ridiculed in school and every girl thought I wanted her and that scared them off. When I started dating at girl at age 15, my mom was indifferent to it. Now they..
...don't mind. We talk about homosexual issues, though now I'm engaged to a man - A very unique man haha. Though I'm technically in a straight relationship, I don't see myself as straight because I still find women very attractive and calling myself straight saddens me, like I'm losing a part of myself. Some people still find me weird for saying that gender isn't an issue. I think that's worse than before since I'm in college now and people still are unaccepting at times.
My parents usually start off in the correct way but then lapse back to the old ways. In their defense, they knew me 41 years as a man and only 1 as a woman.
On paper / email they do better than in conversation.
Reaction of everybody I told was good, so far. Than again, I am Dutch and live in the Netherlands...
My parents reaction to "I'm gay" was "okay" with a smile. I think they knew because I had mention being bisexual before. I feel a little awkward around my family though.
how do u make a video a responce id like to do one for how i came put even thought its months late and do one as a responce to this and i mentioned how my parent reacted in my latest videos
i know how morgan feels. My boyfriend is also trans. He is FTM. His mom does not accept it. She does not respect him at all. She still calls him she and Nicole. It is very frustrating. I dont want to overstep my boundaries by correcting her but at the same time its hard to stand by and listen to him being disrespected. I hope things go well for you on thanksgiving!!
btw, video idea. We dont see much of Morgan, I was thinking maybe you two could do a video together or she could do one on what it was like dating a transsexual compared to her previous experiences. A question Ive pondered myself from time too time.
I applaud Morgan for correcting people openly. Doing that takes a tremendous amount of guts. Also, Im sure things will be ok with your family this thanksgiving. and if its not, remember, Morgan will correct them :-)
Heh, yeah family can create some some awkward situations. I remember wanting scream at your otherwise kind family sometimes and I can imagine how must it sucks for you.
Hey, i really want to make an account on your website so i could talk to you but it won't work, it says my account doesn't exist even after i've activated it.
You are fantastic! I get so excited when i see you ave a new video.
Umm...my mom was pretty good about it. My dad...not so much...he denies the fact that I'm gay and that I want to transition. It feels really awkward to talk to him...
I had the same kind of thing with my dad... he and I are polar opposites... but things have gotten a lot better since his dad, my grandpa, died this summer. I think it kinda made him realize that family is important, no matter what their gender identity/sexuality/political affiliation/etc...
mostly my family has been very weird about it when i came out things were ok but once i actually started working on my transition i got nothing but negative responses from them most of my friends were really supportive but jsut as with my family most decided they would prefer to make fun and harrass me. moved away and when things didnt work out as they were supposed to im back home trying to make things better but transition has had to be put on hold which really sucks
Thats unfortunate... I'm sorry to hear that your family would react like that. My brother still makes fun of me from time to time, but since I'm the oldest I can still muscle in a good comeback... it's morphed into just another part of our conversation and that's been a positive step... if nothing else, at least we're talking about it...
So your wife takes no mercy on your parents or siblings when they call you by your former name and or former gender? Sounds like that could become an awkward situation real fast.
gonna go check out you site..wish i could take your poll but i'm not gay! i love your vids though, i'm a recent subscriber, keep up your inspiring work!--blythe

What are the advantages of the My Touch with Google over any other phone which can access the Google website?

This phone automatically syncs to my google account, including calendar and emails and all that... other than that they're all the same

LMAO. I don't think P made that much noise in her entrance you also didn't compete with her pouty exit. :D

I actually have all kinds of footage with the two of us but them morgan says "you can't post that".
