Ah yes... Midnight Special 1976. I remember when this aired the first time. Too bad I saw it on a 20" black & white TV with a 3" mono speaker.... Absolutely one of the best performances of this song! Sure they were blown out of their skulls just like us watching, but they were hitting it just right this night. So glad it was captured on tape!

At times it kinda sucks being 51 and born in 1960, but the music from my birth until the late 80's was fucking incredible. I've seen these guys 8 times, the first in 1977 and countless other times. I met Stevie at the Fashion Square Mall in Scottsdale while living there at the fragrance counter at Neiman Marcus.....no celebrity or President I've met to date made me melt like her

I guess you're right about the song being from FM's self titled album; but, there are two earlier versions of the song that I have: the first studio version on an unreleased album from Buckingham/Nicks, and the famous live version that only a few of us had until YouTube made it available to everyone. Diminishes the value of my copy, but in this case I don't mind as people should be allowed to hear it as it was meant to be played.
