Ok, quesiton about the bikes being used in modern flat track: Clearly production engines but do they use the production frame and suspension and just add a smaller gastank and seat or do they have a purpose built frame and specialized suspension that uses a production motor?
I've seen motocross bikes converted to dirt track use (bigger tires, etc.) on the short track and single events so I'm confused about these bikes.
I used to ride the 650 TT Specials and later the 750 Triumphs...fast, very fast and still is. XR750 HD has alot more torque over the Triumphs and could out pull them by mid 1970's on the bigger tracks.....but the Triumphs will blow up if too much HP was built into the engines..it's not IF they will blow, but when. SOooooooo most better riders went with the XR by 1980 or before. The 750 Triumphs were still competive, but the cranks tended to break too often if you wanted to stay up front.
im 16 i've been racing since 4 believe it or not....I race a 1977 Yamaha 650 bored to 700 on a short track and I've won many awards...This guys just putting around he has no clue what hes doinf....Stick to motorcross
this is alot harder then what it looks..this dude is basically just riding around, the pros and experts scrub by going sideways no brake and lots of throttle..
Does anyone know Jennifer Snyder? She was the best Girl flat track racer i have ever seen. Well really where ever i seen her race she was always top 5 are even won the race. I think that Harley was a sponcer for her. They called her the Quick Chick. last time i seen her was about 5 years ago and she was around 17 years old. anyone have any clips of her are maybe is she still racing are not>
@XtremeInkz she got hurt real bad several years ago I believe,maybe she decided to cut her losses .She is the only female to win a national event in the Flattrack USA when it was around.
