Terrist1, thanks for posting these views of my birthplace, Copacabana. Tell that audience that a city with 9 million residents can´t be compared with any resort, in what refers to pollution or anything else. Brazil has an extremely long shore, full of resorts, clear-blue-water beaches, some less than one hour away from Rio, but Rio is unique for its 24 h liveliness, mountains, jungle, business and beaches at one single place. One can hang-glide or surf and then go to work. Greetings from Rio.

This beach is horrible , Can Cun, Varadero , are the best ones, this one looks very dirty to be honest.

Just because you've never been there. This is a way better than Cancun or Varadero. And it is even better if you stay in the best hotel of latino america, the Copacabana Palace. Its not everyone who can afford such lap of luxery.

@Ynashimitsurunescape Is beautiful I agree ( noting to do with copa cabana ) but still Can't be compared with Varadero or Can Cun, Varadero has more than 17 km of white fine sand and sea ( so white that hurts ur eyes , is not a joke ) and the most beautiful blue water you have ever seen. I ve been in many beached but nothing beats the beauty of Varadero ( Can Cun is more or less the same , but is very urban ) My next destination will be Bora Bora, that's also much better than Copa Cabana.
