  • Help Bigbro, my sister has her application with the catholic church. She claims she doesn't call the preacher father or worship graven images and only prays to the saints, that she doesn't really worship them.... I think she likes the shiny beads. I told her that too derived out of paganism. She just gives me that dull deer in the headlight stare.

  • @grady1610 Would you relay 2 messages to your sister for me: 1) Tell her she is going to hell praying to dead people and 2) ask her if she will ask the priest if they can take some time out from their busy schedule from the gay bars and look at this video.

  • Once again bigbrother, you right on target. I like it, keep preaching the word my friend

  • @jallen9343 God bless you and Thank you for your kind words. i WILL keep on preaching....peace.

  • you made no sense after 8:58 till the end of your video. and just to add this if you were really a catholic for 30 years you would of knew these questions.

  • @wizmiller25 i was catholic for 30 years...i didn't learn anything and nothing was being taught except how to play bingo and ice down 10 cases of beer in a big tub.

  • @yobigbrotheronline that my big brother is called ignorance and that was your choice of living!

  • @wizmiller25 No ignorance is turning your back on the priest sex abuse scandal and pretending like it did not happen and all the stuff i address in this video.

  • @yobigbrotheronline I have to admit, I like the beer part.

  • @grady1610 LOL !!!!! Now Grady !!!! Its time to let that beer go.

  • the priest we call father is because god is representing himself through the preist.

  • @wizmiller25 The catholic bible says to call no man father.

  • mary gave birth to jesus christ!

  • @wizmiller25 ooook ?

  • catholic is wrong im sorry to say it like that but its true

  • @demonicstoner71191 Why do u say that ?

  • @yobigbrotheronline because its man-made and theres no repentance or sanctification with them at least thats what it seemed to me...youve got ppl that go out and do drugs and get drunk and then come talk to a guy in a booth that can forgive them of there weekly sins its like come on now you guys cant be serious..im an apostolic holy roller but im a backslider therefore i cant say im safe

  • @demonicstoner71191 i am an apostolic cogic holy roller...Sir you are not safe. What is separating you from God. I want u to answer this...inbox me if you need to. What is so great that it would take you away from God ? What did you leave God for ?

  • @yobigbrotheronline you know i cant really say i have a reason. the devil called me back out into this carnal and malicious world about 7 months ago when i was struggling with a cocaine addiction but i kicked that habit (praise jesus) and ive just been afraid (i guess you could say) to go back because his love and power is so strong when i walk in through those sanctuary doors idk whats gonna happen you being an apostolic man yourself i feel like youd know what i mean when i say that

  • @demonicstoner71191 part 1 of 2 Sir change your name or delete this account. if you dont want to delete it give me the password and id and i will do it for you. if you have other names in other places that are like this gdt rid of them. I have not had to work my way through addiction to drugs. I have had close realtives and friends who were hooked & have now been set free.

Sir there is nothing fearful about the love of Jesus Christ. First make sure u are fully restored to Jesus. part 1 of 2

  • @demonicstoner71191 Make sure u are restored to Christ & church folks wont matter. We know how church folks can be. But if u are restored to Jesus & drug free, they wont bother u. i live right ain't nothing NOBODY can come at me with. Folks try all the time. I just tell them i am obedient to God & if they dont like what i do go talk to him. Now if i was fornicating, drinking ,lying, they would have something to say. Brother is there anything i can say that would help u 2 come back to Christ ?

  • @yobigbrotheronline i dont know what you mean could you please clarify? because what i was taught as a child, and my mother is a sunday school teacher is that we pray that saints pray to god and ssame goes for the virgin mary we pray for their interseccion we do not see them as Gods because we are part of the christian faith and as you very well know, we are not polythesitic although it may seem like it, we are not.

  • @SuperAlejandrolara The bible says that only one mediator exist between God and man and that is Jesus Christ. I cant find anywhere im scripture where it say that we can communicate with mary to Jesus Christ.

  • Question nr 2

I know that when catholics pray to the virgin mary , they dont really pray to her. They are asking the virgin mary or others saints to pray for you , like you pray for others.

    sorry for my english

    Peace

  • @muzic95 The catholic bible says there is one mediator between God and man and that is Jesus Christ.1 Timothy 2:5

  • I'm sure your questions are already answered but I'd like to say that for the most part it is tradition, live by the word there's only 1 god and it says "thou shall not have any idols" and god and Jesus Christ are 1 there's no need to go to a priest to confess your sins when god obviously hears your cries, just like when u pray he answers u its the same with repentance. You said u were praying to god and he heard u then and led u back to him the right way then he heard you, I know I'm jumping a

  • @getchrisified U said: I'm sure your questions are already answered

No they have not. My questions have not been answered.

1,000 views and still my questions have not been answered !!!!

  • The humbleness you display when asking these questions is the reason i thought an intellectual dialog could be astablished. Clearly you have different views than that of catholics, but have a sincere interest. As I have and interest in man made religion and the man made bible.

  • @yobigbrotheronline no I am not catholic, there for have never been to a catholic church. I have never been harmed by any man/women.

  • @linkinparkfreak98 Sir i am so sorry !!! i have so many comments i get people all mixed up. I pass out every night trying to respond to everybody. i was responding to two teens. BRIKbushcraft was a catholic and you linkinpark good old Pentecostal.

  • So, my question would also be, is your point of view from a person who goes to an Assembly of God Church or a Baptist Church. I am 13 and from an Assembly if God church, and I would like to hear the opinions of all people before making any really important decision.

  • @linkinparkfreak98 My Christian experience is closer 2 the Assemblies of God. I am known as a Holy Ghost, Holly Roller Pentecostal. I believe in casting the devil out of a light pole.

To answer your other question i was Catholic & was high as often as i could get some weed. i was a lector, i believe they call it. I walked for mass with a homosexual priest, holding up a giant bible over my head, read a scripture & handed out communion with weed in my pocket, still high & drunk from the night b4.

  • In another one of your videos I believe that you said that you had smoked weed when you were younger. Were you doing so while in the catholic church? I'm am sorry if I have made any false accusations.

  • @linkinparkfreak98 You are very young please man, please try and get as far away from those catholic priests as possible. Dont allow yourself to be alone with them. its just not safe for you. i dont care what anybody says, dont allow yourself to be somewhere alone with those priests.

Have you been harmed in any way by a priests ?

  • A big reason that we (I'm 15 and a Roman Catholic) pray to Patron Saints, is because these people were not always deemed divine or held in the regards they are now by God/Christ. Think of it as the best examples of model citizens. After all, it can be quite difficult to try and relate to God or Jesus himself, but many find similarities between themselves and Patron saints of the Catholic Church. I wish you a merry Christmas.

    -Braxton

  • @BRIKbushcraft How do you know that someone you are praying for made it into heaven. Say for an example you are praying to a deceased loved one...How do you know God accepted your loved one in heaven ?

  • @yobigbrotheronline Often we must pray that they are in heaven, but if we truly believe they are in heaven then it is simply faith that God took care of our loved one. Not a special Catholic kind of faith. Just faith like you and every other Christian has.

  • @BRIKbushcraft PART 1 OF 2 Let me help u out on this. You can not pray n2 heaven a hellbound heathen. In other words if someone was a beer drinking, lying, cheating, cussing, heathen & they die...you, the Pope & every Catholic in the world cant pray that person n2 heaven. That person wanted 2 go 2 hell. See God is a gentleman, he does not force himself on anyone. There are people who live as though they want 2 go 2 hell. part 1 of 2

  • @BRIKbushcraft Part 2 of 2 God is not going 2 force them 2 go heaven & neither should u & other catholics. So the big question is this..How do u get your ticket 2 heaven ? Heaven is a gift, u cant earn it. The bible says not by grace so that any man can brag or boast. The way u get 2 heaven is to ask God, not a homosexual priest, to forgive you of your sins. Then ask Jesus Christ into your heart.

Would you ask the priest at your church 2 take some time out from the gay bars & look @ my video ?

  • i think its about time for a new vid man.

  • @thenobs123 i agree with u....but i have to do what God told me. LOL !!! i have a lot of great ideas, but unless God breath on them they're worthless.

  • I'm catholic and we were taught not to "pray to" per say to patron saints and the virgin mary but we pray that they pray for us so we pray for their intercession because there is only one God

  • @SuperAlejandrolara we pray that they pray for us

Can u ask the priest to give u a scripture that says there are patron saints praying for us ?

  • bro...bro..bro...hmmmmm id say i pray to our lady of guadalupe because she is a cultural and historical figure or apparition being mexican she is a big part of our culture and miracles have been linked to her through form of prayer but in my case always putting god in front of anything u kno ???

  • @psycodude12 our lady of guadalupe......Since GOd is the final authority...why not pray to God in the name of Jesus...why do you need our lady of guadalupe ?

  • Can you please tell me the definition of poop plz I need to know, thank you for your time;)

  • What makes a person a true Jew?

  • @aclee1234 Man idk...A hellion that dresses up in all black, big black hat, long beard reads the Torah. You tell me ? i just found out what a Christian is.

  • The bible addresses the Jewish question. The Spirit tells us that as gentiles we should be thankful. We are grafted into the tree as a wild olive branch. Our eyes are opened by God's grace. Just as God decided to give the Jews a spirit stupor. God warns us that the Jews could be grafted back into the tree and that we, as gentiles should not forget the Jews are still Gods chosen.

  • @grady1610 God warns us that the Jews could be grafted back into the tree and that we, as gentiles should not forget the Jews are still Gods chosen.

    --------------------------------

Excellent teaching my friend...I know it to be true..but where is this in scripture.

  • I think as a christian we should do for Jesus as he would do for us. He would not hate he would forgive. We must forgive the Jews as he did. They do not let his word be taught in the Holy Land it is a crime to teach the New Testament. We must educate and at the same time do as he would do we must forgive that is a great challenge for christians. This quest opens the door to let Satan he loves for us to fight and take sides but we must do it in a way of peace.

  • @aclee1234 AMEN brother the Lord may be calling you to Israel to bring about peace and healing.

  • @aclee1234 Sir i could not agree with you more. Are you a Pentecostal ? No dont answer that we may start disagreeing ?!? LOL !!

    Much love my friend,peace.

  • I am a sinner and nothing I can do will change that. I am saved by the grace of Jesus Christ because he loved me so much he died for my sins. I KNOW THIS IS TRUE. I can only pray each day that he will direct me to know truth when I here it, and I must not turn away from that truth. I must act on the knowledge he gave.

  • @aclee1234 Amen.

  • We can pick any church apart because they are all filled with sinners nothing on this earth is perfect as it is in Heaven. We must try and unit the people that are in Christ. We must try to be like Christ even though we know we cannot we must do our best. We must bring the people up. Remember the saying you can't see the trees for the forest. The bigger the sinner the more the sinner should be in church to learn the way. The way is by the blood of Jesus he died for our sins.

  • What do you think about it being against the law to teach the New Testament in Israel? How can we find a way to set Jesus free in the Holy Land?

Please pray about this matter. I love to here you lets please work together and come up with a way to solve this problem.

  • @aclee1234Needless to say i fully support Israel. I believe that God is the Lord of Israel; and will one day restore the kingdom to Israel..........Hey let me ask u a question b4 u go: If you died right now and u were standing b4 God almighty and he said 2u, why should i let u into my heaven...What would u tell him ?

  • @yobigbrotheronline If the Jewish people do not accept Jesus Christ as there Lord and savior than who is their Lord and savior I do not understand. I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior it is not by my works that I get into Heaven but the blood of Jesus that covers my sin. I believe in Jesus Christ.

  • @aclee1234 If the Jewish people do not accept Jesus Christ as there Lord and savior than who is their Lord and savior I do not understand.

The good Jewish people will have the same fate as the Jehovah's Witnesses, Mormons, Muslims and various other who deny Jesus, they go to hell (John 3:36, John 14:6).

  • I'm not religious, but i'm curious as to your opinion on the recent scandal in the catholic church. I'm not attacking catholicism as a whole, but i am attacking those who turned a blind eye (in a manner of speaking) to pedophilia within the clergy, which in a way included Pope Benedict XVI (my roman numeral might be wrong, i'm not too good with those).

  • @sbeck50 The scandal involving the Catholic Church is one of the worst miscarriages of justice in U.S. history. i dont understand why the atmosphere that allowed boys to be molested, is still in place today.

  • Bible part2. I also try to learn from Scott Hahn, Jeff Cavins and others. Jeff Cavins has a great Bible course. Maybe one day I can write to you about my conversion and my acceptance of Christ, and life in Christ.

Hey brother listen. I know catholics can look crazy and not Christian. I have seen all the weird stuff on the Internet. Most of it is lack of mutual understanding and lack of scripture. Anyway I hope Christ`s love will guide you and keep you firm in faith. God bless!

  • @VoteDrRonPaul Catholics look crazy !!?!?!? I''m Pentecostal....you aint seen crazy till you seen us Pentecostals in action !!! Where do you think the term holy roller came from..it wasn't no Catholic or a Baptist !! LOLOLOL !!!

  • @yobigbrotheronline Hehe holy roller....ehmmm I think I dont wanna know. I dont have anything against charismatics...as long it is biblical. I too converted and repented due to a catholic charismatic priest. An excellent priest I must say. The catholic charismatic renewal is biggest movement in the Church right now and it does a lot of good. I have been on seminars where there was over 10000 people worshiping together. Now that is experience I recommend... :)

  • @VoteDrRonPaul ohhh now i got it !!!! See DrRP you didn't tell me everything !!!! i asked u in an earlier post: Can you tell me how u developed your knowledge of scripture ? There is no way any Catholic could develop the knowledge of scriptures you have by attending mass for 59 minutes a week. When i asked this question i knew u had something the average Catholic does not. Now i see u have been hanging out with those catholic charismatics !! That will do it everytime !! I luv thos Cat Char !!!

  • Regarding Lk. 14:26 The point is the same like in "call no man teacher". You have interpreted passage correctly. Yes Jesus meant that God must be on 1st place. But the text dont say that does it? It says very clearly that you MUST hate you mother and father. So why dont you interpret Lk14:26 literally the way you did with "call no man father"? Remember if you are right than Paul broke that when he said he is father to Timothy. But it looks that Paul interprets it like Church does and always has.

  • @VoteDrRonPaul i also interpret hate my mother as..hate the flesh and love the Spirit. Eph 6 says we do not struggle with flesh and blood....

  • I forgot to say that if you have given your life to Jesus, and only to Him than you trully are my brother. He is the Way, the Truth and the Life and there is no other name under heaven which can save you. He is the ONLY way to the Father our God. The whole point is to come ever closer to Christ and be washed in His blood. I hope the whole world repents and accepts Christs sacrifice on the cross.

  • @VoteDrRonPaul Can you tell me how you developed your knowledge of scripture ? There is no way any Catholic could develop the knowledge of scriptures you have by attending mass for 59 minutes a week.

  • @yobigbrotheronline I will answer that gladly sir. My friends and I try to devote every day to Scripture. We also attend mass almost every day and there is a lot of Bible. Whole Bible is read if you do to mass for 3 years. St. Jerome lived in 5th century and was from the place I was born in. He said that "ignorance of Scripture is Ignorance of Christ". We try to live and to breathe it. We also pray the Bible. It is a special way of reading. And before all of that we ask Holy Spirit to guide us.

  • @VoteDrRonPaul Wow !!! What percentage of Catholics study at the level you do ? Have you had any seminary training ? Have you attened any Catholic school or seminary ?

  • @yobigbrotheronline I cannot tell how many read Bible as much as I do. My friends certainly do. But I think it is way to few who take their faith seriously. I have not have any seminary training. I do study philosophy in Croatia. That faculty used to be catholic but it is still run by priests.

  • Here are some reference:2 Thess. 2:15, 1 Cor. 11:2, 2 Tim. 2:2, Acts 2:42.

If you follow the tradition of man than church splits. That is why there are more than 10000 different protestant denominations. All using same bible but do not agree on many things. St.Paul said in Ephesians 4:4-6 that there is one Lord, one faith. Catholics, ortodox and eastern churches do have one faith and the same teaching. That is 1.5billion christians.

Bible is writen in semitic style that is why we have problems.

  • Part 2. The problem I see is that you say "the way I interpret the Bible ". That is ok as long as you stay in the bounds of the tradition so you dont come up with all kinds of false teachings like "once saved always saved" and so on. The right question is when reading the Bible "what is this holy author and the Holy Spirit trying to tell me". "What did they mean" and not "What do I mean." I know you Americans read Bible the fundamentalist way so we might not understand each other very well...

  • @VoteDrRonPaul i dont believe in tradition as a means to set policy for the church. I agree " once saved always saved " is a fallacy.

  • @yobigbrotheronline Ok I understand. But here the thing. I see that words are problem here. If you think that my use of "tradition" means "beliving men rather than the Word of God" than you are right. I dont belive in that kind of tradition. When the Catholic Church use word "tradition" it means "the teaching of the Church" which again means the teaching of the Holy Spirit. Now I know you dont belive that. To explain some more in details I must write you personal message...this here is too short

  • @VoteDrRonPaul u r right...i dont belive it !!! LOL !!!

  • Part 1. About the 6. question. Tell me how sure can you be that Jesus in Mat.23. was not speaking about biological fatherhood but rather about spiritual? Paul is using spiritual fatherhood when he said "son" to Timothy and Titus. None of these men were Paul’s literal, biological sons. Rather, Paul is emphasizing his spiritual fatherhood with them. (2 Tim. 2:1) (1 Tim. 1:2) (Philem. 10) And here comes the best one: (1 Cor. 4:14–15) I can give more if you want.

  • @VoteDrRonPaul Lets say Paul was talking about Spiritual fatherhood. HOW would that tie into calling a the priests father. I think the scripture is clear when it says call no man father. Some scriptures can be interpreted one way or another. But this one is clear. HUMBLY i say we just need to do what the scripture says.

  • @yobigbrotheronline I agree 100% that we need to do what the scripture says. But let me ask you some questions. Have you ever called any man a doctor? Like: "This man is my doctor". or "I trust my doctor." And second question, do you hate your mother?

  • @VoteDrRonPaul oooook...i think u know my answer to this question. Does the bible say call no man your doctor or call no woman your mother !?!? LOL !!!!

  • @yobigbrotheronline Well here is my point. Word doctor is latin and means teacher. And now open you Bible and read passage just before "Call no man father". So yes Bible does say call no man doctor (rabbi mans doctor). You are as guilty there as catholics are calling priests father.

The second thing is Luke 14:26. So I guess we must hate our father, mother, wife, children, brethren, sisters, yea, and also our own life in order to be good christians. Right?

  • @VoteDrRonPaul Jesus is speaking here and he says do not use the title Rabbi, which i do not do. He said do not use Rabbi because people were seeking titles to pump themselves up.

What does Luke 14:26 have to do with call no man Father ?

The reference to hate in Luke 14:26 means to allow no one to even come a close 2nd to God...to put a distance between God who is 1st and whomever u or i may think comes after God.

  • @yobigbrotheronline But you do use title Rabbi. Rabbi is Hebrew for teacher. It could be translated to doctor on latin, teacher in english, ucitelj in croatian, lærer in norwegian. Word father is Abba in Hebrew. So if Jesus was speaking in Hebrew he would say: "Call no man abba" the same way he said call no man rabbi. So why do you follow literally bible on the father but not on the teacher?

  • @yobigbrotheronline Catholics say that priests are spiritual fathers. It is like an icon of the Father in Heavan if you get me. They are to us as Paul was to Thimothy. The line is NOT broken. What you find in the letters of Paul exactly the same you find in the Catholic Church TODAY!!! Like it or not that is the truth. New Testamens MUST be read in the light of Jesus and the Old Testament. If you dont know the Old, you will not know the New because old is forshadowing of the new.

  • @VoteDrRonPaul DrRP this issue hinges on what u just said....Catholics say that priests are spiritual fathers. This is a sin in the eyesight of God and why the scripture says call no man Father.YOU can have only ONE Spiritual father.

  • It is amazing that you have been Catholic for more than 30 years and dont know the answers to those questions. I am not saying it is ONLY your fault...it mostly bad cathecesis thees last 50years or so. Answer to all your questions you can easily find on catholicdotcom. They have a great radio show you can listen online.

I am also what you would call born again christian, AND I am Catholic. To answer these kind of question youtube is really not the best medium. Read Catholicism and Fundamentalism

  • @VoteDrRonPaul Now Ron Paul is the thinking mans candidate...if you support Ron Paul that means you evaluate and take stands on the issues based on intelligent decisions. You know the issues and then respond intelligently without emotion of hidden agendas. If you get asked a question, you dont say let me get back to you on that one. You act in the best interest of the people collectively.

Have you ever asked someone a question you knew the answer to because you wanted to make them think ?

  • @yobigbrotheronline Ron Paul supports marijuana use. He is a quack.

  • @redeemerslove Hey redeemer who is your candidate ? LOL !! Hey one thing i have learned is this...The outcome of my life is not determined by whomever is residing in the White House. My destiny is determined by God.

Do you have answers to any of my questions ?

  • @yobigbrotheronline

I would choose Tim Pawlenty or Rick Perry, because they got results. Perry got 33% of all jobs in the U.S. since the Great Recession. Pawlenty added jobs as well, but not as much. Perry and Pawlenty balanced their budgets. That is amazingly better than our current President.

As a Certified Senior Professional in Human Resources, I know results are all that matter. Skin color, flowery words, pablum (hope, change) do not matter, only results.

  • @redeemerslove Wrong. He does not support marijuana use...he only wants to decriminalize it. I hope you know the difference. And also...I hope you understand why he is promoting decriminalization of marijuana. Trust me...it is NOT to smoke some pot maaaannnn....

  • @yobigbrotheronline Yes I have. It is the method Socrates used. I am glad you like Ron Paul sir. Let me at least answer you one question. You can in some instances as catholic take communion in christian churches that still have apostolic succession, Orthodox and east rite churches. You as protestant cant take communion in catholic church. Word "communion" means "participation", "fellowship". Protestants are not in communion that is why they cannot take Communion in Catholic Church.

  • @VoteDrRonPaul OHHH DrRP....OHH my !!! If God is your Father, then i am your brother. If i have accepted Jesus Christ and repented in my heart to God for my sins in accordance with scripture, Why cant i go to mass and take communion. See i believe in accordance with scripture that Gods power and authority are freely given to ALL those who believe. Apostolic Succession is rooted and grounded in tradition and exclusive of the bible, which is my ultimate source of reference.

  • Let me pray that all the giving peoples money go's to God & His propose or plans or whatever.

  • @MrBrian11111111 I am in agreement with you my brother.

  • Catholic Church is the only that did not accept the marriage of homosexuals Catholics are the only church that rejects abortion is by going on the path of our fathers, the saints and Christ's day his pure body, said to his disciple Peter from here we take the dependency of the Pope, Matthew 16_18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

  • @missnour100 Thank you for commenting...i really appreciate your response. I applaud the church's stand on homosexual marriage and abortion. it is a known fact that the Catholic Church has been the front runner in saying abortion is wrong....Speaking of homosexuality..How do you think the priest sex abuse scandal got as out of hand as it did, resulting in Billions of dollars being spent to settle claims against the Catholic Church ?

  • Spiritual leaders are "father" in the Bible. Gabriel says Jesus will have the throne of David His Father.Jesus calls Abraham "father" (Larazus & rich man parable)Roman 4:11 Abraham "father of all those who believe" In Acts church leaders are addressed "brethen & fathers" (7:2 22:1) 1John 2;13 "I write to you, fathers." In Matt 23 Jesus isn't saying don't use the word "father",but don't give to men the honor due to God alone. (He'd just been talking of scribes, pharisees being hypocrites

  • @MGordonUSA Mr Gordon, i thank u sir for your response. My interpretation of SOME of the scriptures you mentioned is the term Father was used in biological terms rather than Spiritual. My interpretation of Mat 23:9 is that Jesus IS saying dont refer to men on earth as Father in a Spiritual sense. Which in my humble opinion, places the Catholic church in error.

I will say your enlightenment on the scriptures you mentioned has me turning bible pages !! LOL !! Thanks for sharing my friend.peace.

  • I think I can answer a few of your questions you can also check the "Catechism of the Cathiloc Church" which you can probably find online.

All Catholics are Christian, not all Christians are Catholic. Instead of "i"m not christian, I'm Catholic" a better answer would have been "I'm a christian who is Catholic"

Celibacy probably comes from 1 Cor 7:32 I want you to be without care. He who is unmarried cares for the things of the Lord...

  • @MGordonUSA ..hmmm..i dont see anything in 1 cor7:32 that indicates a lifelong vow of celibacy. My interpretation of 1 cor 7:32 is dealing with those who are unmarried and in a position to do more for God. I appreciate your response.
