Wow, this song has something... I'd like Neil Gaiman to write a second installment of Coraline. To be honest, it would just be out of my whim to see a second film, because I know that to some extent it would be offensive in a literary sense.

But... I don't know, man. When I heard this song, specially the intro. A bunch of stuff came into my head. As if I could visualize the second film. As if I could see the first sunrise of the existence of that movie. The foggy town, the new school, Coraline.

They recorded songs very early on and the movie went through changes. Before I saw the movie or knew about it this bothered me I didn't know what the hell this was about. But I understand it after seeing the movie and hopefully they will release the other songs soon.

I'm at least glad they're choosing to release the unused songs from the Coraline sessions. They did make one song that actually WAS used in the film ("The Other Father Song").

At any rate, despite the fact that they dropped TMBG from the production, it was still an awesome film. And this is an awesome song. Everything's awesome.
