All about Aerie stunned me. While playing i always felt, when i was young, that i had a real romance. Her dialogs talking about her past... her lost wings, all the pain she suffered. And at the end of the adventure, even Bodhi saw she could use Aerie against me, and she did, transforming Aerie into vampire with not other option that killing her with my sword. I'm a Paladin in essence, but...after the battle i just got her corpse. And i never gave up, and found the way to resurrect her in a cave.
I found Aerie's development throughout the game the most interesting and touching. I have tried a lot of party combinations but never gave up on Aerie!
Jaheira's is easy? I mean, certainly odd that she jumps on you, so to speak, immediately almost immediately after Khalid dies. But there's not much in there that I would consider as "easy".
ok ok let's be honest for once. good themes BUT REALLY Jaheira's romance and aerie's romance is too easy and aerie is just a little whiner. >.< that was first reason why i took viconia romance second is that im drow freak :D
@hurisija Well, sure Aerie is, but Jaheira is probably the hardest of the three to get, since you need to trigger certain events early on and really get the timing right to get the dialogue to go anywhere. I originally thought I had completed her romance plot, then found a guide to it on a forum and found that I'd only seen about half of her potential romance dialogue.
I´ve been having some kind of romance/love/friendship dialogs with Jaheira (My first time playing BG) and some quests regarding her and some Harpers and it´s quite interesting, she´s awesome like I´ve already commented :D
Jaheria's violin in her theme always makes it a pleasure to listen to.
Although I personally prefer Viconia due to her personality of contradictions, which admittedly is how many people act without knowing it and therefore feels the most real.
I always preferred Aerie theme, but Jaheira's certainly fits her character well...she's been through too much during the game to have something simple and happy...
@Akerfeldtfan - I find Aerie's theme touching in a sweet, happy way. It feels hopeful and innocent like she is when you first meet her. I also like Jaheria and Viconia's themes because they reflect the sadness and pain of their lives. I'm not sure if I have a favorite among them, as they each reach for different emotions.
@Seagloom Very true. Personally I favor Aerie's if I'm just listening to something, but within the context of the game Viconia's gives me shivers. I'm playing the game right now...First time through TOB and fourth through BG and it really is bringing an incredible amount of my childhood back. Certainly in the top 5 of games I've ever played...
I shit you not, I accually cried... Tears of joy, for experiencing probaly the most Complete and Beautiful game to date.

as charcters i loved aerie and jaheira i cant mind why ppl always thinks happy about aerie she wont fly ever again so she wont come back home :(

But Viconia's! Her theme music is the theme music of the Baldur's Gate 2 game itself.

Always loved Jaheira's romance line. Mainly because it sparked another visit in ToB from the Forgotten Realms' favorite traveling wizard. ^_^
